Built on the site of the Erie Canal-era 'Centre Street Brewery' and more recently the Acme Press, Centre Street Public House & Garden embodies what we love most about Schenectady and it's history.

We're a casual, traditional biergarten style restaurant. Our brick oven pizza is jaw dropping. Our Craft Beer lineup is deep. Our Staff is friendly.

We are strictly adhering to all Covid-Era restrictions as prescribed by the CDC and New York State, ensuring a safe, enjoyable experience every time you visit

The beer selection is great here but the food is terrible. They change the menu all the time and nothing ever gets better. Sometimes when I go here I feel like the staff is very snobby and as if they don't want you in their establishment.

Great staff, welcoming atmosphere, good beer selection. Kitchen offerings are a bit limited, but always good. Excellent Trivia night on Tuesdays!
