The Central Park Boathouse is a beautiful and unique experience: great food and really hospitable service, & the view can’t be beat. Question: does anyone read the notes you request about special occasions? It was our 30th anniversary and I’d requested a table by the water in the special instructions of Open Table, that’s all. Both the maitre’d and our waiter didn’t know this information and while there was a table by the water we were shown to another seating. Our waiter did bring us a complimentary dessert which wasn’t necessary but very appreciated. We still had a lovely time; just don’t know if it is worth filling out that section of Open Table anymore. Thanks for a great time at the Boathouse.

Beautiful location. Ambiance top notch. Our waiter was not very familiar with the menu, not very attentive, and slow overall, but was very pleasant.

I believe iconic Boathouse restaurant need proper chief for food and proper management to organize better.Me and my family visited iconic boathouse several times but everyday becomes more bad.

Such a classic setting, highly recommend. Great food and service. Go at sunset and watch the sky turn into colors.

Everything was fantastic. The only thing was we had booked a fireplace table and we’re sat on the dock instead. Everything was still lovely tho.

I really enjoyed my time at the Boathouse. The staff was excellent, very attentive. The food was really excellent as well, better than I remember it being during the post Covid re-opening. Just a really enjoyable evening.
