Lovely setting, attentive service, boring menu. Where are the special oysters? Only the cheapest, least interesting bluepoints are offered. And where is the lobster roll? the absolute BEST summer lunch treat. Drinks at $20+ are overpriced. But it's still a gem and we will be back.

Upon arrival a complimentary “relish” tray was placed on the table. It contained 4 small Melba toast crackers, a few thin slices of radishes, 3 olives and 2 endive leaves along with a dip. When we asked for bread we were told it was on the menu. The purchased bread consisted of 5 tiny rolls for $8.00. My swordfish dinner was small and tasteless, as were the other dishes. For our party of 4 the bill came to over $500 and we left hungry. We have been to the Boathouse many times and enjoyed it very much. After this experience this will be our last.

Lovely space overlooking the pond & Small boats. Food was very fresh and a high quality, well priced and had a very nice presentation. Our table ordered the salmond which was perfect, fish cake was amazing and the Verdura salad, I highly recommend and Forest Mushrooms . Everyone enjoyed the meal. Staff is friendly and on top of there jobs. I will be going back.

Great restaurant in a beautiful location. It was perfect for my simple wedding lunch. The service was great and the food was very good.

Loud, overpriced, but pretty location. The wait staff was slow. The was an automatic gratuity even though the service was poor.

Lovely restaurant to dine at, good and attentive service, second time going for lunch, food was not up to standard for the price charged and automatically a 20% gratuity was added to the bill. I might consider going back if friends are visiting from out of town only.
