Experienced a new set of dishes that were all very good. Enjoyed the balanced 5 courses , well served in a simple well decorated atmosphere. The sound levels were good enough to allow easy conversation.

Great meal! Beautifully prepared, and presented. Central Market is one of the best restaurants in Petaluma. Great service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Had the 3-course tasting menu which ended up being the equivalent of 6 courses. Added oysters as starter and addle pie a la mode to finish. Just an excellent meal all around. For the price, Central Market remains by far the best restaurant in Petaluma!

A most wonderful experience. Service is excellent, food like home cooked, tasty fresh ingredients. This place is as it ALL goin' on. A special thank you to my server last night, for honoring my Dad's birthday with that amazing homemade pineapple upside down cake. This was so thoughtful and the nicest touch to the end of a fantastic dinner. I wish Open Table didn't ask me to share my great experience because I may not find a table so readily available next time 😊. Thank you for the great food and service.

Number #1 yesterday was service. My wife and I were running late and I called a few minutes before our reservation time and said we were running late and probably wouldn’t be there on time or even in the 15 “grace” period. The reservationist/greeter was able to find a spot in the future, AND was able to still able to get our favorite table type and our go-to server. While I did thank the gal for her kindness, I zoned on asking her name. Platinum star for service. She went WAY above and beyond. Please give her a raise or at least a paid day off! Our go-to server is lovely Rita. She always comes through with prompt service and super recommendations on a pairing wine or an insight into the a dish’s incredients on and on. Kudos to Rita! The members from the busser team were as good as usual. The folks in the front of the house work as a team and it shows up in a great experience for the guest. It half of why we keep coming back since we moved here from Ross + years ago. The back of the house was great as well. I ordered a glass of the Sicilian white, Grillo, that Rita turned me on to in our last visit. I jumped on the Ocean Trout Crudo. I wish that there was a “half” option for my all-time favorite Sweet Gems salad with smoky house-made bacon, local blue cheese, and hardboiled egg. Then I could have BOTH - the Crudo AND the salad. The desert was our first time with the Basque Cheesecake. I liked the consistency and light taste. The top is brown and looks like they burned the darn thing, but no, it was very tasty. So kudos to Tony and his teams, both front and back!

We had a delightful evening with delicious food and a great waiter, John who really elevated the whole evening. It was a celebratory dinner on a Wednesday night and it was just perfect. The meal was great and our service was impeccable. We’re looking forward to the next meal at Central Market. we are foodies and wine lovers and enjoyed everything about the evening.

Excellent meal. Dishes were fabulously prepared! Chocolate tart was a little too liquid for my taste, but still delicious. Carmel affogato was to die for.
