The Cellar House is very convenient to us, ambiance is always good. Staff friendly. We had a girls gathering there this week, unfortunately after perusing the menu for a considerable time we came to the conclusion there was nothing on the menu we wanted for lunch ...the menu seems geared for evening/ dinner. A number of small plates choices suggesting you would be requiring at least 3, and the Light bites ( toasted sandwiches) Overall everything was highly priced.. £13 for a toastie? Such a shame there is nothing appealing they can offer at a lunch time price of say £10.95.

Had an afternoon Sunday tea with my family, my little grandson loved the sandpit, there was a great musician playing, food was excellent and service superb, I shall definitely be back, a lovely pub with pub garden.

Was nice breakfast food just a shame they couldn’t do table service for the drinks sitting outside and also put everything on one bill instead of having to pay every time we ordered something. I would understand if they weee busy but this was 10am. Making your own toast also a bit strange when I’ve ordered a breakfast as it came out then I had to do my own. Really nice coffee.

Charming friendly staff, comfortable large table in dining room for 8 people, delicious food, helpful children could have half portions, good gluten free options. Recommend

Birthday meal for two friends .. staff were happy for us to change the table theyd reserved for us to one we preferred … orders were taken promptly and the food was delicious snd fairly priced .. i wish theyd revamp the ladies loos as they badly need it .. not big enough forvpeople with disabilities and a bit grubby … there eas a bit of a delay when trying to pay which was a shame as staff had been great up to that point … the menu isnt really lunch time suited as few lighter meals available .. although they do a small tapas selection … would recommend The Cellar House and the strawberry fizz cocktail was amazing ..

Very tasty restaurant-quality food in a pleasant pub setting. Visited twice recently and everything we have tried has had something different about it that lifted it well above the usual pub dining experience. On both occasions the persons who served us were engaging and very helpful. Highly recommended.

We both enjoyed tasty meals, and had a lovely relaxed evening. The restaurant was fairly busy which created a nice atmosphere and waiting staff were all happy and attentive. We highly recommend Cellar House!
