Came for a birthday meal. Really lovely touch, the birthday guest received a card and some chocolates. Yummy food, really tasty! Also was touched when we received a dessert on the house. Lovely outside setting too.

I took my 98year old friend out for supper and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We were originally seated in the bar area and it was so noisy that we really couldn't hear each other. Very kindly one of the staff moved up into the restaurant and from then on we had a really lovely meal. The food was excellent and the service good. I would certainly return.

First visit since change of ownership/management having received good reports from friends. We would not rave about the place to the extent they did but the food was good even if the menu is fairly narrow. The service also was good but our overriding take from our visit was the reverberating noise which was continuous and at a level which made conversation nigh on impossible. It was not that the other tables were at all noisy, simply that the acoustics are atrocious. Background music was switched on midway through our meal but it instantly become 100% lost in the general din of the room.

Lovely meal in lovely surrounding. Even had a card on our table wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch.
