Ceci is very centrally located, and the ambiance and staff were amazingly friendly. The menu items are curiously unusual. The food exceeded my expectation. I had yucca fries and the beef tartar, both to die for. Prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ceci Bar, and it was truly an exceptional experience! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the beautiful atmosphere, which made me feel like I had been transported to a vibrant Latin/Spanish country. The decor was stunning, adding to the overall charm of the restaurant. The service was equally impressive. The staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and made sure every detail was perfect. You can tell they genuinely care about providing an excellent dining experience. As for the food—simply outstanding! Every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It’s rare to find a place where both the service and food are top-notch, but Ceci Bar absolutely delivers on both fronts. Although the restaurant wasn’t too busy since it just opened last Wednesday, I have no doubt it will become very popular soon. I highly recommend Ceci Bar to anyone looking for delicious Latin-inspired cuisine in a beautiful setting. Don’t miss out—this place is a gem!

My partner and I recently visited what we now consider the best Mexican restaurant in Toronto, and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. The menu is a true testament to authentic Mexican cuisine, rich in flavor and steeped in tradition. What stood out the most were the pork belly tacos (Juan’s Tacos), hands down the best we’ve ever had. The effort that goes into implementing a family recipe is evident in every bite. The pork belly was perfectly tender, with just the right balance of savory richness and a satisfying crunch. Beyond the tacos, the entire menu offers a journey through real Mexican dishes that are both comforting and exciting. The care and passion that go into each dish make this place truly special. From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the exceptional service, it’s clear that this restaurant is dedicated to providing an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican flavors in Toronto, this is the spot. We can’t wait to be back and explore more of their incredible offerings.

This location just opened so maybe still some adjustments in the kitchen. Our dishes were a bit mixed: appetizers a bit over cooked but the mains were excellent. Servers all very helpful and cheerful. It is designed to be an uptempo spot so the music is quite loud; maybe fun for groups but less so for, say, couples on a date.

Beautiful new restaurant, great ambience, perfect fit for the neighbourhood. The only thing that is missing... dancing! It would be great to have Friday and Saturday outdoor dancing parties with Latino flavour. Salud! 🥂

Nice patio with lots of shade. Ideal location close to many attractions (Scotiabank) etc. The restaurant was still new when we visited so still needs to work through some of their opening trials (food took awhile to arrive).

So happy we tried this new place for brunch- and stayed through happy hour! The menu was great but what really made the dining experience was the staff, from the knowledge of the accommodating waitress (yes, the dragon popcorn was fun) to the friendly chef (even giving bakery recommendations for St. Lawrence market) and especially the warmth of the restaurant manager (who even remembered us from a visit at the sister restaurant pre-renovation). We were pleasantly surprised by the selection, flavours and freshness of the dishes.
