We had a few appetizers (wagyu meatballs and sausage and pepper pizza) and settled on the Chef's tasting menu. The Wagyu meatballs were the best I've had in forever. Perfectly seasoned and fresh. The pizza was delicious as well. We dip the crust in the meatball sauce and WOW.
The Burrata was my favorite dish of the night. Perfectly balanced and flavorful. I could've just stopped there. I am not a fan of gnocchi, but this was flavorful, and the brown butter sage really came through. Perfect with the mushrooms although I only took a bite to taste the dish. The short rib was great and the polenta realllllly set it off. Our cut of rib was super fatty, so it did make it tad bit salty on those parts. However, the polenta balanced it out. I am also not a dessert person, but I thought the dolce leches cake was tasty. It was light enough to end the meal.
We did the win pairing with the tasting and they all truly complimented the dishes. Someone put great thought into it. Overall, the ambiance and the Service was a 10/10. We opted to sit at the bar even though we had reservations and I am so glad we did. The bartender, Tim, was everything. I did not catch (who I assumed to be) the sommelier's name, but he walked us through the entire back story of each wine, the company, and where it was sourced from. Going back soon and bringing more friends. I want to sit on the patio or outside bat before it gets too cold. It was beautiful out there at night! Perfect for a date night!
