In support of the regulations issued by the city of New York, Cecconi’s Dumbo is now open for outdoor seating until 11pm.

Cecconi’s Dumbo is a modern day classic Italian restaurant near Brooklyn Bridge park, specializing in hand-made pasta, wood-fired pizza and other Italian staples. Originating in Venice and with outposts in London and West Hollywood, Cecconi’s has become a critically acclaimed dining destination featuring simply prepared Venetian inspired food.

With waterfront views of the Manhattan Skyline, join us in our main dining room, bar or patio dinner and weekend brunch seven days a week.

Why do reception attendants have to be so arrogant in top-rated restaurants nowadays? Why look at customers as if they are making a favor to have you dining at the restaurant… that’s Cecconi’s! Same with the waiter. He didn’t allow us to pull a third chair and made us place our bags/ purse on the (dirty) ground (while there were several chairs piled up right next to us)! The Rib Eye we ordered was 60% fat and 40% meat. Worst Rib Eye ever! Not to be just a bad review, the entree was to die for! A ricotta truffled-honey. Marvelous!

View was gorgeous on a summer night on their patio, but the food was gross. I had the bolognese and my boyfriend had the lamb ragu and they both tasted like water with no seasoning. It was fine because we wanted the ambiance, but I was actually taken aback by how un appetizing the food was.

Perhaps no more beautiful views available at a Brooklyn restaurant anywhere in town. Nevertheless, dinner was rushed, extremely expensive, although well prepared food, not the over the top ingredients I would expect for their high prices.

Fantastic location and great food, service was the worst we have experienced unfortunately. Constantly dismissed and ignored and food served at different time to my wife's.

We had very clunky experience. I tried to call beforehand several times to let them know we were celebrating something. No one answered. The waitress was new and clearly would have benefited from more support. She announced like a drill sergeant, right after we were seated, that we were to order starters and mains together. We asked her to give us a breath and she disappeared (a recurring phenomenon). We finally got her to agree to let us order starters while we picked our main course. The disappearing drill sergeant routine continued until the check arrived. The kicker was that she didn’t honor my SOHO friends discount, saying that her manager said it was for 4 people (we were 5). I looked on the SOHO House website afterwards and no such rule was mentioned. Super disappointed.

host desk was overwhelmed with the busy night - they were not exactly pleasant - the server was great - the bartender great as well.

We have been here so many times and gradually this place has be declining. Food was okay the crostini’s were stale the chicken was not how it usually tastes. Not sure if chef was changed but food was not as tasteful as it usually is. The hostess that checked us in was not welcoming at all. Not sure if we will be returning again. It’s not the old cecconi’s we use to know.

Everything was excellent from start to finish. Octopus and truffle pizza are to die for! Profiteroles are a must. Shoutout to Nazareno at the bar! Charming and knowledgeable about the food and drinks, gave us amazing suggestions and improved our dining experience tenfold.
