Cecchini Griglia is a culinary experience designed for meat lovers. This set menu features a curated selection of meats, showcasing Dario Cecchini's mastery of butchery and grilling. Each dish celebrates the flavors of Tuscany, with cuts that honor the entire cow, from nose to tail. Everything is paired with a traditional Tuscan red wine to enhance the flavors of the meal, making it a true celebration that brings people together at the table. Our tables are convivial, where people get to know each other and celebrate life at the table together.

The price is 70 euros per person.

It starts with an aperitivo at 8:15 pm and dinner is served at 20:30, here the grill rules!
The service lasts about two hours.

A bit away from the Duomo in an older neighborhood, but seemed perfectly safe. The restaurant is built inside a glass box. Interior decor is modern and fun. Service was fast and friendly and the food was different and quite good. Prices average for the better restaurants.

Not quite pulled together. We had delicious cocktails in the open air courtyard first: very good. Our dinner table, in the covered atrium, was private and the scenery throughout the restaurant is dramatic (music this night was American inflected retro pop—think The Smiths and such). Steak tartare was lovely; wine options good. Tagliatelle with pesto and black cabbage was excellent. We had some confusion with my order, but the servers were quite apologetic about it (especially since I had tried to explain the error and was told I received what I had ordered). They comped dessert without us asking, which was nice. (Still, I would have preferred the meal I chose.) This restaurant—in the 25 hour hotel—is high concept and quite funky-modern, which you don’t see much in Florence. I was a bit surprised by the large event —in their “cinema” attached to the courtyard bar—that was presenting a PPT selling some luxury Dubai experience to a host of people who looked like they were there for the apperitivi. Overall, an odd and slightly off-putting experience. After a full week of dinners in Florence, I’d put this at the bottom.

Fabulous atmosphere, fantastic food, excellent service! We enjoyed Crispy fried Octopus, Veal with lemon and olive oil with San Paolino potatoes and mixed salad. Wait staff was attentive and so pleasant and fun. A definite highlight in our visit to Florence. Highly recommend!
