   The staff were excellent, especially our waiter Shane. It was very noisy in the restaurant but we were still able to have good conversations at our table. My husband and 2 boys who were celebrating a 30th and 40th birthday thoroughly enjoyed their meals and we enjoyed celebrating with each other. My sirloin steak and prawns meal was not great, the steak was not tender, it was very chewy and lacked flavour, even though cooked to medium rare. I did not say anything to the waiter as everyone else in our party were enjoying their meals so much and I didn’t want to do anything that would put a damper on our celebration.    Our server, Peter, was excellent! We appreciated the quality and variety of choices along with the focus on Canadian options.

   Service was great, prime rib excellent, more than adequate with the quantity of food.... no room for dessert

   Went to celebrate my son in law passing his exams. Harry our server was amazing! Steak was great, overall a great evening!

   I frequently dine at the Cattle Baron South for lunch and dinner as well as meeting industry colleagues to network. The staff is always attentive and friendly and food is always great.

   This may of been our worst experience at CB . This is our go to place . Steak sandwich was off for some reason . It was very slow . Not overly busy tonight . Clientele swearing beside us .

   Had dinner here last night, the food was delicious as per usual however, the service was sub par at best. Our waitress was slow, did not listen, and got a few things wrong. My husband ordered a drink he always gets when there and she informed us they did not have it (after she said she checked), I looked and they did, she made excuses as to why she said that, we ordered one shrimp appetizer and she put through 2 and charged us for 2 (yes I said something to the woman that brought it, ours never came to check on our food). We ordered steak and salad, mine with no peppers, and mine came with peppers, again she did not come ask how our meal was, we saw when she asked if we wanted dessert and brought the bill. Have to say this was by far the worst service we have experienced here yet.
