In the heart of Oxted Cattle & Cocktail combines a modern steakhouse with a lively cocktail bar. Serving a wide selection of cuts from our British produced meat as well sustainably sourced seafood and a vast selection of the finest cocktails using fresh ingredients. We host a selection of themed nights from our Steak night, to Burger & Lobster night as well as a Bottomless Prosecco lunch on Saturdays.

    Enjoy our stunning, fully licenced venue for your private function in the heart of Oxted. The refurbished and very elegant restaurant is able to cater for either buffet style or fully served dining. Private hire includes the use of our beautiful cocktail bar as well as the main restaurant and covered and heated sun terrace overlooking Master Park.

    Very disappointed. We booked a 6pm table for three and were looking forward to a nice steak dinner. We arrived 5 minutes before 6 and realised we were still within the Happy Hour slot . By the time we were seated it was literally 18.01 and we were told we couldnt have any reduced cocktails. How petty is that! It certainly lowered the mood. Outside, Tuesday Half Price Steak evening was promoted and this was the reason we came. However, we were then told that, to be able to get the promotion we'd have to order a starter before the steak. All the starters were around the £10 mark so any reduction on the steak would have been negated by the starter! I recently had a stomach operation and cannot tolerate large amounts of food and my elderly mother cant either so we decided to just have three starters and sides. The bill still came to £110 due to the stiff price of £12 for an Aperol Spritz type of cocktail. I had hope to bring my friends and partner for regular steak treats but I m afraid this experience left me unimpressed

    Always received great friendly service. Great with demanding littles ones and provides them with colouring pencils and paper to keep them occupied.

    The man I assume to be the manager seemed very annoyed I had a pushchair even though I’d stated it in my booking notes. The servers were polite and friendly when giving service but getting service wasn’t easy. We had to ask to order more drinks, for the bill and again for the card machine. The restaurant is lovely and the food was nice but the first interaction being negative and poor service set the tone for me and I wouldn’t return

    We had a fabulous meal this afternoon. We could not fault the service, the food, the place itself and the atmosphere was just spot on for a long over due ladies catch up and 50th birthday lunch.

    Good service and food. great atmosphere but we had to ask for the music to be turned down. They were happy to do this. Would go back.
