The only positive I will say is that the manager compted our entire bill. That being said. A Father’s Day dinner ruined. Never had a waiter. It was a chore to get water. Our appetizer took 40 minutes. Food quality was horrendous. Felt like they had no idea how to handle managing the kitchen.

Highly recommended location on the Nautical Mile in Freeport, NY. We went with our families for Father's Day via boat & the staff was extremely accommodating with docking assistance along with our dining reservation. The food was fresh & delicious varying from the Calamari, Watermelon feta salad, Paella, Braised Short Ribs, Branzino and Shrimp Fri Diavolo. Our waiter was excellent. Management was extremely kind. We felt the entire staff was attentive not only to us but surrounding customers. Would 10/10 recommend & we will certainly be back.

The first time I can remember when a savvy person specifically knew to seat us away from a large party. Just two nights ago, another restaurant was empty, but a young lady sat us right next to the large party. The service at Catchers continued to be the hallmark of what a diner would like to see everywhere. The food was the highest quality, well prepared and eye candy even before I tasted it. Little extras like a side jar of French fries with the coconut shrimp appetizer, beautiful display for jumbo lump crab cocktail were a pleasant surprise. Dinner of the hugest paella I have ever seen! My husband finished all the seafood, but couldn’t possibly finish all the rice and veggies. My scallops and rice with asparagus in lobster sauce did not disappoint 😁!!!

They messed up our reservations, table wasn’t ready for us when we got there. Set up did not include napkins (which we had to ask for several times. When we ordered they messed up the kids meals. When our food arrived they messed up my wife’s meal. Was sent back, and brought back without lobster. I ordered seafood paella that was suppose to have lobster but didn’t. My wife’s order when brought back 40’minutes after taken didn’t come back with lobster. Got charged an additional $10 for a cocktail, got charged 65 dollars for both entrees (one that didn’t have lobster), got charged $53 dollars for gratuity, and got charged another $10 dollars for not paying cash. In total for a family of five we had a bill of $351 dollars (which wouldn’t have been bad if we got what we paid for). What makes it worse is that the manager didn’t apologize for the mistakes. I will never go again.

Nice restaurant. Service was a little slow. Food was good, but overpriced in our opinion. Lobster roll came out on basically on a hot dog bun and barely had anything inside of it. Also had calamari arriabiata which was tasty, but they up-charge for that and that wasn't explained on the menu. Currently 3.5% credit card fee which is less than the usual 4%., but I think the fee is garbage no matter where I see it and now it's everywhere.

Was quite disappointed with this dining experience. I had been to this restaurant a few times last year and was pleased with the menu and dishes available. We were the first seating on Mother’s Day and a number of menu items were already unavailable due to them running out the night before or not enough people in the kitchen to produce (the couldn’t fillet the Branzino cause they didn’t have the time or manpower). The paella was overpriced and mediocre in taste. The drinks were great and our server was lovely and apologetic …otherwise I would have given less stars on this review.
