Situated in the vibrant South of Fifth neighborhood, Catch Miami Beach will feature modern renditions of classic dishes served in a streaming, shareable style of dining & a bold new look designed by Rockwell Group. The 23,000 square-foot dining destination will be complete with an open-air rooftop terrace, indoor dining, and private events. The menu will marry simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak, featuring both luxurious, locally-inspired dishes alongside beloved Catch classics like the Catch Roll, Truffle Sashimi, and Japanese Wagyu cooked on a hot rock.

Food was dried out and cold. Small portions poor quality. Sushi choice terrible when compared to Zuma. Salmon was like it had been left out for hours. Skirt steak was like a leather boot Desert choice poor , cookies hard and dry ( Publix ?? ) Lolipops from CVS , seriously ? Poured water into a dirty glass with old lipstick and when we pointed it out, didn’t think to comp one bottle. Instead sent and charged another. Wanted it to be a good experience but it’s clear it’s about profit margins for the company and not positive experience for the customer. Sadly. After a similar experience at dinner, won’t go back. Even being local to the area. Waste of money

Disappointing Experience at Catch Miami We were excited to try the new Catch restaurant in Miami after enjoying their locations in New York, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Unfortunately, our visit did not meet expectations. - Buffet Surprise: We were unaware it was a buffet brunch. The setup felt disorganized, resembling a camp buffet rather than a refined dining experience. - Portion Control Issues: Staff at each station were instructed to limit portion sizes, resulting in frustratingly small servings that required us to make repeated trips for more. - Iberian Ham Carving Station: The ham carving station was disappointing, with only one person serving poorly cut pieces of ham—just four small slices per order. - Lackluster Dessert Table: The dessert selection was underwhelming, consisting of lollipops, Starburst, and packaged candies typically found at a CVS store, rather than creative desserts. - Atmosphere: The rooftop ambiance was lackluster and did not match the vibrant energy of the other locations we loved. The only positive aspect was our friendly and attentive waiter, who provided excellent service. Overall, I’m unsure if I’ll give Catch Miami another chance, as this experience was far from the quality we expected from the brand.

We’ve eaten there twice. The first time was a quiet Tuesday evening and everything was very good including the service. Our experience, Saturday night, had real issues with the service. It took ten minutes plus before anyone approached our table. We ordered drinks, which took over twenty minutes to arrive. They began delivering appetizers before our drinks. Eventually we asked for a manager. Then as they were serving the entrees they informed one guest that there selection wasn’t available, but that should have been communicated right after the order was placed and not when the entrees were being delivered. The food was as good as the first time, which we really enjoyed, but the service, operations side needs to be reviewed and tweaked. You should never pay those prices and receive that type of service.

Ambiance, food and service were stupendous! We had Chilean sea bass, some maki rolls and nigiri, everything excellent, fish very fresh and delicious.

Had a reservation and didn’t get seated until 45 min after we got there. For a restaurant to have a no show charge if you don’t make your reservation you’d think they’d hold themselves responsible too for not being ready for you coming to the establishment.

It was a rough start, they sat us by the Bar area which is not a bad place, but I wanted to sit in the main dining area. We asked the hostess but she said she could not accommodate us because they were booked with large parties. My husband walked to the main dining area and it was empty! Needless to say we spoke to some of the Managers, Carl and Alejandría and was taken care of immediately. The food was amazing !!! It’s a 10 out 10. I would highly recommend Catch to everyone who is looking for a great experience!!!! The manager made sure to make it a Great Finish.
