This restaurant had such a great menu that it was hard to select what I wanted to eat as my 3 items for my dinner, The portions were just right and the food was so delicious. The waiter was very attentive and made sure our water glasses were kept full! I will be back for sure! Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you!

First time dining since Catch became a 'new' restaurant and it was very good. We were promptly seated. Service was excellent. Very extensive menu choice which made us think that there were too many options for a restaurant of this size to create excellent food, but we were delighted to find that everything that we ordered was either very good or excellent. They also had live music which enhanced the experience and importantly, the quality and volume of the music was pleasant and not distracting, which added to the experience

I had the salmon rissotto, which was very tasty. The service was excellent and the waiters very attentive. I will definitely go back again.

A fun place with standard French bistro fare. Their dinner menu doesn't appeal to me much, but we were there for brunch and there were lots of good choices, so I can definitely recommend it for a casual lunch/brunch. Very friendly staff who make you feel welcome.

I really really really want this place to be amazing… It has the opportunity to do that… But it just doesn’t quite connect… The main dining room has lighting that is more like outdoor alley lights and there’s too many flags on the tables… And it feels like with more focus on the quality of the food. This place could really be a 10 out of 10… The beef burgeon, tastes like it was hurriedly made the menu has a lot of items as choices but when they come out, they look like they need more love in the kitchen… I find it a bit concerning that the owner is never in the restaurant sampling food as it goes out… I have a feeling that would really improve things… My optimism remains that this place could shine in the Castro… However, it’s quickly losing its new excitement

This was my first visit under new management. The patio continues to be an airy, inviting space. The French onion soup and the salmon risotto were excellent. The cioppino was also very good—the sea food was very fresh and tender; the sauce was a bit heavy however. We also enjoyed the chocolate cake and the brioche bread pudding. The service was friendly and excellent. So happy they are open.

We ordered appetizers and drinks. The drinks were mediocre but not horrible. We also ordered appetizers and they were horrible. We ordered calamari, French onion soup and tuna tartare. Calamari was a mix of fish, squid, shrimp and green beans. All of which was bland and over breaded and tasteless. The French onion soup was watery and again pretty tasteless. The tuna tartare should be marketed as guacamole because it was mostly avocado. I can see why it was empty when we walked in and wished we took that as a sign before ever being seated. Lastly we mentioned to the waiter how dissatisfied we were and he simply ignored us and brought the bill. Three drinks and three horrible appetizers for nearly $120. Sad.

Excellent service. Food was good. Nice varied menu. I would recommend to friends. Always like eating in the Castro.

We have dined here at least a dozen times since they opened. This is second time that the food was cold, the fish was overcooked and tasteless, the service was chatting with each other and having a grand time but not paying attention to patron needs.One dish was missing dipping sauce. Front tables not open to air and street( was humid with no wind when we were there. I have had great A, experiences here and anyone can have an off day. But this was my second time like this.i will be back and hope that this feedback is followed up on.Thank you, I hope to a good experience next time.
