Catch Hospitality Group's eighth location, Catch Dallas, will be opening it's doors in the iconic and historic Maple Terrace Development this Fall. The 16,000 square-foot dining destination in Uptown Dallas will be complete with a two-level outdoor patio and private events in the signature space, the Emerald Room.
The menu will marry simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak both globally and locally influenced alongside beloved signature dishes like the Catch Roll and Truffle Sashimi. Catch Dallas will feature premium Japanese specialties like luxury sushi selections from Tokyo's Toyosu Market and a unique variety of Japanese Wagyu, which is masterfully seared tableside on a hot rock.

The service was very pretentious. Our party felt ignored if you aren’t an “important” person in Dallas - the waiter was great but the other service professionals walked around very haughty. I was expecting more but overall it was decent - nothing out of the ordinary and nothing was impressive. We would recommend Nuri over Catch any day.

It was a vibe. I brought 5 teenagers to celebrate my daughters 17th birthdaty, Everything was amazing, delicious and on point. Wish I remembered my servers name, she was on point. I liked this catch better then NYC catch. Great variety of items on the menu. Will return

The restaurant in itself was amazing. Love that it had two floors and two bars. The noise level is/was extremely high. My girlfriends and I had to basically yell at one another in order to hear what one was saying. The food was great but in my opinion overpriced.

This is an excellent dining experience - Dallas is lucky to have a Catch location. We got the oysters and the Shishito peppers. They were excellent (oysters were a normal size even though they said they’d be tiny, and were very good in flavor and texture). We got the MRC sushi roll for the table and had to order a second one because it was so good (I can’t put into words how good the sushi was we could come here and just get that). We got two of the crunchy rice cakes and two of the baked king crab hand rolls which were excellent. My partner got the New York Strip with wasabi butter which was a phenomenal add on I do recommend super unique and not very spicy. I got the wagyu fried rice and it was out of control. Dessert of Pistachio cheesecake and coconut milk ice cream was excellent as well. This is a return venue for us which is rare because Dallas has so many good restaurants constantly opening we almost never vow to return to a place but Catch will bring us back.

Fantastic experience for my birthday! Jose was fantastic and will absolutely be asking for him again. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Highly recommend!

Overall the best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance. The food is ok for the price but the most annoying thing was being pushed to order our entire meal at once and the server was very pushy about us ordering an entree. We tried to explain we only wanted apps and sushi as a meal but it almost seemed like there’s some sort of protocol about ordering something from the entree menu that waiters are pushed to adhere to. Overall our experience was fine, I just didn’t expect pressure like that in a fine dining setting.

The best meal my husband and I have had in Dallas. We split 3 rolls and edamame between the two of us and it was plenty of food. We also loved the clarified mezcalrita, and my husband said it was the best cocktail he’s ever had. Could not recommend Catch higher!!

We were not allowed to be seated at our table until all guests were present. This is a practice of TexMex restaurants trying to turn tables and not of any fine dining establishments that I frequent. Early seating allows a host to give a credit card to the server, have wine ordered and decanted, and order hors d’oeuvres before guests arrive. Parking is not ideal. I will not return.

I celebrated my birthday with six of my girls and definitely going back. The food was delicious. Dessert was delicious 10 out of 10.
