Catch Hospitality Group's eighth location, Catch Dallas, will be opening it's doors in the iconic and historic Maple Terrace Development this Fall. The 16,000 square-foot dining destination in Uptown Dallas will be complete with a two-level outdoor patio and private events in the signature space, the Emerald Room.
The menu will marry simple yet elegant seafood, sushi, and steak both globally and locally influenced alongside beloved signature dishes like the Catch Roll and Truffle Sashimi. Catch Dallas will feature premium Japanese specialties like luxury sushi selections from Tokyo's Toyosu Market and a unique variety of Japanese Wagyu, which is masterfully seared tableside on a hot rock.

Overall food was good but team forgot the sashimi pizza and the lychee drink was inconsistent on the portion pour hence my friend and I got one.. But manager said they’ll adjust the charge on the Sashimi Pizza. I’ll definitely go back though.

First time to the Catch Dallas and was really looking forward to the trip with a few NBA Exec colleagues in town but we may have had the worst waiter ever in regards to service. Reaching over food and my face without saying excuse me, no suggestions on the menu just returning with pen and paper telling us he needs to take everything at once and not just starters, and a few other fundamental table waiting expectatios not met. Everyone else in the place was super accommodating and went over the top to make it a good evening but he’d always return and make everyone feel uncomfortable. Hosting another group next week and seriously considering canceling. Overall, on par with the other Catch restaurants around the US but set expectations low if you have Tony as a server. Thank you to the other staff members that made up for his lack of professionalism.

It was a nice environment and the service was great. Our server Max and was very attentive and helpful when our food took a while to come out.

It was so loud upstairs our group of 6 had to yell to hear each other. Couldn’t hear the waiter. The food was mediocre-highlights were the NY Strip, caesar salad, mashed potatoes and hamachi crudo. The seabass was dry and the sushi rolls were underwhelming. They forgot to bring our pasta entree until the end of the meal.

I was very disappointed with a couple different things…first we tried ordering appetizers first, so we would have those to enjoy before our main meal, but was told to we had to order everything so they could time it all right. We had been waiting for 45 minutes before receiving our apps. We ordered dumplings and edamame and our sushi rolls (that were our mains) came out first. They also messed up our sushi rolls. Then, our edamame came out wrong (we ordered spicy and they gave us regular), they let us keep the sushi rolls because they couldn’t take it back, so we obviously ate them but then got too full and had to cancel one of our other entrees because there was so much food.

Can ch was very good, the Wagyu fried rice and lobster mac and cheese was phenomenal. The drinks were real good. The servers and hostesses were very attentive.

The entire staff, including the front desk and full team of servers, was wonderful. Food was great and consistent with other Catch meals we’ve had previously in NYC. We had our infant with us so we booked an early reservation, and while the restaurant was decently busy at 5pm, by the time we left at 7:45pm it was packed and definitely a place to be!
