Welcome to Catalina's!

Situated right next to the BT tower in Fitzrovia, our cosy restaurant serves street tacos in the true style of the traditional Mexican cuisine. Inspired by his grandmother Catalina, our chef David prepares his delicious food using our barbeque grill. Enjoy slow roasted brisket, tender chicken or specially prepared jackfruit while sipping on one of our Tequila-based cocktails or refreshing mocktails or maybe some original Mexican Mango Soda. Come with friends and treat yourselves to a massive platter of nachos with homemade nacho cheese, guacamole, salsa and more bits and bobs that are sure to get your mouth watering ready for our street tacos.

We have created a friendly, intimate atmosphere with lots of attention to detail and we can assure you, we've all been painting, tiling and getting our restaurant all ready for you!

Make sure to book your table to secure your spot, but don't be discouraged if you don't get around to it, walk-ins are welcome!

Dive into the basics of hot sauce with our chef! Learn about the history of the Scoville heat scale and impress your friends with your new-gained chili knowledge. In your personal laboratory station you can mix our different hot sauces to find your perfect combo, creating your own recipe - take home a bottle of your favourite. And what's even better: you'll be able to order more when you run out or when you need a present for your spice-affine friends. And you can tell everyone that you made it! There'll be little snacks to help you taste test and cleanse your palate and if you wish to, our bartender will be happy to make you and your friends more cocktails once our complimentary margarita has whetted your appetite.

The best Mexican place in London! The food was impeccable, catering to a carnivore diet but also a vegan diet without any fuss. The service could not have been better, I didn’t catch the waiters name but he said he was from Nashville, he was friendly and made us laugh and smile! The whole team were welcoming and friendly :)

Came here for my friend’s birthday on a Saturday lunch time, the weather was gorgeous and our request to have a table outside was a good shout as it filled up quickly. Had the Mexican crab fondue to start which was sooooo good - and I’m not typically into seafood, but it was just so nicely balanced, turns out I’m only into good seafood! The tacos were full of flavour, chicken definitely my favourite, they grill it on open flame and you can really taste the smokiness. My friend had the soy enchilada which she looooved, they had a full vegetarian menu ready for her without having to ask. Margaritas are my fave cocktail, and they nailed it. Not too sweet which is always an issue I’ve found. They also make their own hot sauce and alcoholic ice creams AND they have a nutritionist created dog menu! Cannot wait to be back (with my dog this time!) to try the rest of the menu, thank you for a fantastic experience.

Great service, particularly for our little dog! Food was very good, nachos a standout. Pretty good value for money - but with a few margaritas won’t be a small bill!

Exceptional food and drink. Best Mexican in London by far. Our waitresses were both great too - sorry I have forgotten their names but a lady from Oxford and another from Germany respectively. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Excellent find - freshest Mexican food marriages with unrushed attentive service - what’s not to like! Also do their own hot sauce classes and purchased some - recommend to all 👍🏼

Food was great, esp loved the range of spicy sauces. We tried the tacos and didn't really like the jackfruit one but all others were good. The table was by the door so it was fairly cold for one person throughout the meal.

The cocktails and food were so good! The spicy margs were delicious and definitely packed a punch. The chilli's were amazing and the crab fundido was chefs kiss. They didn't have the chocolate board dessert so we'll be back soon to try that too. Highly recommend.
