Catalina is an iconic harbourside restaurant, family owned and operated since 1994. It is a light airy modern space with wonderful views, floor to ceiling glass, and outdoor balcony seating. The menu is Mediterranean-inspired and features sustainable seafood from the best producers Australia-wide, and grass fed and free range meat and poultry. The wine list is one of the best wine lists in Australia, featuring over 800 wines, and receiving a 3 Goblet rating every year in the Wine List of the Year Awards. The service is welcoming, friendly, informal and yet, professional. An ideal venue for all occasions: from everyday dining, to business lunches, to celebrations, to wedding receptions and events.     The food was wonderful - beautifully cooked fish - and the location and ambience were just as I have loved for 25 years. But something was off with the service when we visited. Nothing disastrous, but not the seamless and attentive experience you would expect at this kind of restaurant and price point. Overall, though, a lovely evening.

    Such an enjoyable evening. The staff were amazing and ensured a lovely experience. The food was wonderful. It’s expensive, but worth it for special occasions.

    It took long time to have someone to serve you menu and took long time someone to take your orders. Food were absolutely fantastic and selection of wine was also very good.

    Celebrated our wedding anniversary and Valentines Day today for lunch. First visit to Catalina and absolutely outstanding on all fronts. Will return next year for sure!!

    We had a fantastic double birthday family dinner. We were looked after amazingly by all the team and enjoyed the most delicious food. Our fish was perfectly cooked and all the dishes were faultless. We all agreed it was one of our best nights out. It was also great to not have to chase staff for a wine glass top up or new bottle as this was all carried out so well, which is sadly rare these days. Many thanks to all the team.
