Had reservations and was quickly seated. The ambiance was great with dim lighting and good music being played. We ordered a few drinks to start off and did not have to wait much time for them to arrive. The food was delicious and came out quick, we will definitely be back.

Food was great. Ambience was good. Service okay . Disappointment was the drinks. Ended up needing to ask 4 times for a different drink since the alcohol requested and confirmed availability was not available. In the end did not get what was requested. Below is drinks requested. Gin & Tonic - Told Hendricks gin was available and came back and stated they were out. Old Fashion - Told Bullet bourbon was available and came back and stated they were out. Order a bottle of Gold Belly Pinot Noir and not available. Then went with the 2018 Merlot. Waiter brought back correct brand of Merlot but did not offer a pre-tasting or review of the bottle. Just served the wine. Once the waiter left the bottle on the table, I reviewed the bottle, and it was a 2019 not 2018. Years matter on wine ordered. There needs to be a more training on the staff and keeping the liquor and/or wine menu or inventory current. I told the waiter I would accept the bottle and left it there. We will probably return and give another chance and see if the drink options go better.

Just WOW!!!’ I can’t believe how good the food was. Not just because the RGV has its very own Michelin Star Chef in Graham Campbell, but that the food was not only delicious but well priced. Why don’t more people know about this place? Why aren’t we making a big deal about Chef Graham? Let’s get the word out and support this awesome little gem of an eatery.

This was our first time to have dinner at CastleHill. The ambiance was great. We ordered the Bruschetta for our appetizer. It had a different twist than your traditional bruschetta. It was good, however the bread was a tad bit on the thick side making it hard to enjoy. For the main course my fiancé ordered the salmon which was dry and so were the mashed potatoes. I ordered the fish of the day which was tasty. The service was ok. We had to wait for sometime before our server came to take our initial drink order and took too long in between to check on us for drinks etc. overall it’s average for all the hype.
