Castaways is a new restaurant located in the heart of downtown Port Jefferson. We are from the same restaurant group that brought you Chops and Drift 82. We will offer some of our most popular dishes from the two restaurants as well as our own new menu items. Our food is tropical, Caribbean and South Pacific inspired to go along with our amazing Tiki - Bar. We look forward to having you!

this was our third time there for dinner over the past 2 weeks each time was excellent. Food did not disappoint and our server Lauren was stellar. Lauren was our server last week and she remembered us and details as to what we preferred. Castaway has become our new local go to place!

I have enjoyed dining there the past two times I was there The food is amazing and the service is excellent. Although pricey it is worth making it that special place for special occasions.

the food was okay but noise level/accoustics so loud/bad you could hardly hear your companions.

Food and service was outstanding. Place was way too loud with no sound absorption material at all plus the music was too loud.

We both had the lobster rolls for lunch. The cold one (my husband’s) had more chunks of lobster, celery, and loads of mayonnaise. He said it was great. It came with fries. ($31). I had the hot one, sautéed with garlic. The lobster was tiny scraps which were piping hot and almost brown from frying. ($31). IThey were served with Parmesan cheese truffle topping.) We could eat indoors (for the AC), but when we went at dinner time, it was so noisy that it was difficult to have a conversation. Not tops on our list, No rush to return.

Food was fabulous! What a treat. I had the sea bass. Portions are huge. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Thanks for a great evening.
