Very nice with a great view. Unable to enjoy alcohol myself due to current medication but my wife enjoyed her martini and glass of pinot noir. The place was very busy so our waiter was spread thin and took little longer than normal to get things. The food was not as good as many previous visits.

Food was good but worst service ever ! We I got married at the Castaway 10 year ago to the date , we were there to celebrate our 10 year anniversary and they didn’t do anything special . We thought it would be nice to bring the kids to show them where we got married . We made reservations, even called ahead of time to let them know it was our 10 year anniversary. I requested the best seats with a view . We were the first one in the restaurants at 11 am on a weekday and they sat us away from the view , even though we requested the best view of possible. I even asked to switch seats to the view spots of the city. The main host / boss said this is the only place we can sit you even though no one was there ! 30 min - 1 hour later the host gave away the 5 best tables with a view to people just have causal lunch. The staff judged us based off appearances because we were younger and had children with us. The server paid no attention to us. We could clearly feel unwelcome . As soon as we entered the restaurant I ask the host if they could take a picture of us were we got married 10 years ago, he said it depends if we are busy later… there was no one in the restaurant but us! They were so lazy. The Main host / boss didn’t even look at the notes that we’re celebrating our 10 year anniversary. He just wanted to stick us in a far corner, we seem like Inconvenience to him. There was literally no one in the restaurant but us!As soon as we step away from the table they quickly turned over the table as if they were waiting for us to leave. Our server and the main boss/ host were entertaining casual guest just going for lunch because they were dressed in business attire. Very frustrating experience. Young couples please don’t go there. Families with kids definitely don’t go there …. They will only stick you in the corner so you don’t disturb other guest because I guess family’s with children and younger couples are bad for business. Worst experience ever . Stay away!!!!!!!!!!

Everything was amazing! From the view to the food and the service was fabulous! We had Karen waitress and she knew all the plates and drinks and recommended some excellent plates and drinks we enjoyed a lot!

Their food prices went up significantly which I feel is too much for the quality & quantity of food that you’re getting. The great view does not justify the price in my opinion.

This dinner was for my birthday with family (5 in attendance). The restaurant was advised this was a birthday dinner. We had a 6:30 reservation on a Tuesday. We had to wait for some time before we were taken to a table outside that was in the sun. We requested an umbrella but realized all the other tables outside with umbrellas were still getting the 90 degree sun aimed at them. We requested an inside table. Waited. Finally were seated and took another 15 mins or so for someone to come to our table for water. We ordered everything at once worried about the wait. Food came for my 2 kids and appetizers came for the 3 adults. Dessert came for the kids. Adults still hadn't had their dinner delivered. When food came the dishes were confused and meat temperatures were incorrect. Lackluster for the amount this place charges for filet mignon and NY steak. The restaurant attempted to provide monetary credit but it was SLIGHT compared to the expense of our entire meal and the aggravation of feeling forgotten, unseen and totally unappreciated. My birthday dinner felt uneasy, upsetting and not as delicious as planned. We will not be coming back to this restaurant and advising friends and family about this disconcerting experience. Staff was aplenty, as were managers - but all not helpful. I miss the old Castaway... so very sad to see this place decline...
