Le Castaway Restaurant and Special Events Center est situé dans les collines de Burbank. Our waiter was amazing very energetic and kind. However the food was not amazing, the regular menu has way better options. For the amount of food you get the pricing is quite ridiculous. However, the atmosphere was energetic and fun.

Never before I had such a bad experience at Castaway. Took way too long for the server to take the order and even longer to get the food, which was not good. We have been here multiple times and never came across this issues.

While the restaurant was mostly well in its design and the view is beautiful, the noise level was loud. Our server was very casual in their interactions with us, like a local “joint” we’d been to a few times. The food was good, neither great and original, nor bad, just standard fair and what is served in an average restaurant. The price of a dish would lead you to believe that you were going to have something above average, yet you could have what they served in any steakhouse. I have to say the most telling part of a restaurant is how their restrooms are maintained and Castaway’s women’s restroom was dirty. No TP in some stalls, trash built up and spilling over, water covering the sink counter, yuck!

The Castaway - Burbank is a wonderful restaurant. The food and drink options are delicious. The only issue I have is the choice of music and how loud it’s played. The style of music played I think is more club-ie than for a really great restaurant that has is on the higher price end. I’m not saying the music should be orchestral and old, just not that club never ending loud beat music. Plus it was so loud on the patio. It didn’t match the restaurant at all.

I came to celebrate my Birthday with family. The service was good, the food was exceptional, and the evening ambiance was the icing on the cake! The Castaways is one of my favorite spots and I'll definitely be back!

A bit pricey, but the food is very good. The server dropped one of our oysters and said would replace it, but never did. We ended up forgetting about it as well, so not a big deal. It is quite busy, so a little difficult to get the waiter’s attention. Overall, a good experience.

I always enjoy a brunch at Castaway! Between the scenery, food, bottomless mimosas, great music and always impeccable service. But yesterday’s service fell short. I arrived around noon for a party of 2. The restaurant was only what appeared to be at half capacity and it felt as if our table was forgotten. I had to remind our server a couple times for to go boxes, he disappeared for a solid 20 min as we waited to put in another order of mimosas, but we were finally over waiting that we decided to ask for the check. I’ve never had a bad experience with service but yesterday’s service was not up to the expectorations that were set by other servers. I may take some time before I return again.

Great place to hang out for Brunch. Need to reserve in advance, especially if big party. The views are amazing. The menu was top notch.
