We are a New York steakhouse with a twist. Our Executive Chef is the only one in Southern Connecticut to use the old world technique of skillet cooking; producing the most perfectly cooked steak. Besides our steak entrees, we also offer the freshest seafood, lamb and duck entrees, as well as daily specials prepared to perfection by our master chefs. All of our beef is perfectly aged and hand cut on the premises. We use only the finest ingredients, the freshest seafood and Prime Angus beef; each presented with simple elegance. Enjoy our homemade specialty breads and desserts.

It’s a shame how terrible the service and ambiance were. Those two factors drowned out how good the food was. Our server was indignant at best, came by one time, very short attitude, then he proceeded to get in an argument with another server right next to our table. Speaking of table, we were sat right next to the doorway with servers flying in and out of the room the entire night. There shouldn’t even be a table there. Plus, there were plenty of other open tables available, and yet you sat us in the busiest/loudest location. Lastly, the smoky smell from this place is repugnant. They definitely need to check on their ventilation system…immediately had to put all of my clothes in the wash from the smoky stench. I think this place has tons of potential, but the atmosphere kills the whole vibe. I will also say that the tacos are next level. If you do indeed suffer going there, get the tacos!

Prices are too high and should allow substitutes such as mashed potato instead of baked potato etc without an upcharge. Had to pay to park too

Service by Sean excellent. Very attentive and helpful. Food was enough for 2 meals. Quality superb. Didn't have room for dessert so next time will skip appetizer. Prices reasonable for Quality of food which was expertly prepared. Will definitely go back.

Service was terrible. It felt like we were being rushed out. Most of the dishes our party had were decent but not worth the prices of fine dining. Definitely look elsewhere if you want steak.

Food was amazing!! Staff was attentive and so friendly. James, our server, made our experience top notch. He was very personable and was a pleasure to talk to. He was kind and smiled all the time. Thank you for a delicious dinner and great evening!

Our second time here, and it was enjoyable as the first, some few weeks ago. The food was outstanding, the environment pleasant, the service professional and delivered with care. I would highly recommend the Cast Iron to anyone who enjoys a great steak, chop, or rack (the lamb last night was among the best I’ve ever had).
