Cassariano – the perfect expression of passion and culinary art in the form of “Contemporary Italian Cuisine”.

The restaurant’s name is a combination of both partners last names; Luca Cassani and Antonio Pariano, both born and raised in Northern Italy. After years working together in the restaurant business both Luca & Antonio made the decision to venture out on their own and open Cassariano Italian Eatery.

Driven by their strong passion for food and a deep love for their profession, these partners prepare authentic contemporary Italian cuisine while cultivating a casual, relaxed atmosphere for their patrons.

Cassariano is the perfect blend of Bistro flavors and fine cuisine. We look forward to exceeding your expectations!

Our food was very good and our waitress was friendly and attentive. However, the kitchen was very slow getting our food out. It was almost an hour before our appetizers arrived at the table and another 40 minutes for our main courses. I had the ravioli stuffed with eggplant and two others had the chicken scallopini ala pomodore. We all thought the food was delicious. But hard to counteract the delay in receiving our food! My suggestion is not to go there on a weekend night!

Our waiter, AJ, was excellent. We enjoyed our experience, the food. etc. Definitely will go back.

We had a fantastic meal in a lovely restaurant made even better with the attention paid to us from each member of the staff. Our server, Isadora treated us like dear friends even though we just met! She is amazing!

Phenomenal as always. The food is authentic and made in house pasta. Service and ambiance are always top notch! Highly recommend!

Happy to learn that there was an 8:30p availability at LWR for NYEve we grabbed it. Have been going to the Venice location for years and happy that the Long Island NY site opened. We’ve been there several times as well & always enjoy it. Luca has always been very welcoming & treated us well. This particular night started on a sour note. Our table was tiny & right outside the kitchen doors. We asked for a replacement but were told “sorry, no”. We bit the bullet & stayed put. When we ordered a bottle of wine there really wasn’t even room on the table for the wine and the food. Then a while later the co-owner & his daughter appeared like angels with another small table, set us up properly & apologized for the inconvenience. This totally changed our experience from bad to great! Now the food… we shared a seafood salad that was AMAZING! & reasonably priced to boot. My wife had the bronzino fish & raved about it. I tried a swordfish dish with a brown mushroom sauce. I had never seen swordfish prepared this way but I took a chance. The dark rich mushroom sauce was SO delicious I feel you can put it many many dishes. It overwhelmed the swordfish a bit but I’d definitely try it again. The waitress was passable. There were times we tried to get her attention to no avail but given the hubbub around a busy NYeve we will forgive that. She was friendly & capable enough so no problem there.

The service was excellent, however the food was not. The veal chop was good, however the duck entree was terrible and the bransino fish was overcooked and tasteless. New Year’s Eve was clearly too much for the chefs.

Service and overall ambience very good on a very busy New Year’s Eve. Food was just ok though. First time there - will give benefit of the doubt and will try again on a less busy night.
