Excellent value for money! Service was great, friendly staff who were very attentive. I had requested sandwiches for myself only, which contained no mayonnaise or mustard however, all of our sandwiches were the same which didn’t please my friend. This was quickly rectified. The score of four was for ambience as there was only one other occupied table in a vast room and we were seated beside the waitress station and kitchen. Overall, a lovely afternoon tea and super value for money. Would definitely go back again.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially Gayle. Sea Bream was melt in the mouth and seasoning was just right. Prosecco was also a winner. Friend fell in love with the tattie scone nachos. New autism friendly spot

We were seated & confirmed we would get a glass of Prosecco. We had to chase up our Prosecco which still took a while to come, the person serving also went & dealt with something at another table mid service. Plates weren’t taken away until we stacked them, we then asked for more cutlery & it never came so we took it from another table. At no point were we approached to ask if everything was ok or to order drinks. Food was ok, could have been more variety.

This was our first time trying the buffet lunch in Hilton Glasgow. The food was delicious and all the staff were very friendly but professional. I would definitely go back again

Been many times before and excellent value for money. Nice ambience and seating well spaced out and people well spaced out in restaurant Brought family from Canada to try this experience. Staff friendly and helpful Any negatives would be that there were 4 of us but were told they could only find 3 teapots !!! Bearing in mind the place was not busy Too many sweet treats, more savoury would be great Also told no boxes to take left over cakes home . We were given plastic containers but far to small to place cakes in However enjoyable day and we did not feel rushed

The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The afternoon tea food was simple, fresh and very plentiful. We had sandwiches - tuna, cheese and ham and a separate plate of sandwiches for me as I am vegetarian. We had scones with jam and cream, large chocolate filled profiteroles, lemon cream tarts and strawberry tarts. We were able to exchange our glasses of prosecco for soft drinks and our teapots were refilled often. The setting was very pleasant and comfortable and we were not hurried out. This Wowcher deal was fantastic value for money. I'll certainly repeat the experience.

My daughter-in-law and myself had a lovely experience as the staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived. They gave us all the info we needed to enjoy our time there especially as it was my daughter-in-laws birthday. Would highly recommend the Double Tree Hilton for their afternoon tea was absolutely amazing.
