Ordered queso. Took our entree order and the entree came out while we were still enjoying the queso (really quickly). Drinks arrived after both other items. Ordered a second drink and it arrived after I had completely finished my meal and was waiting for the check. The food and drinks were delicious, though.

We had an incredible waiter I think his name is Vanni— short for Giovanni? I was there with a friend whose mother only speaks Spanish and Vanni spoke Spanish with her and made her feel completely at home! He was extremely knowledgeable about the restaurant and its food as it relates to Oaxaca (where I’ve been). We ended up having quite a conversation with him—he was like a member of the family by the time we were done :-) Oh, and did I forget to mention that the food was absolutely delicious and so were the cocktails! Impressive roster of Mezcals as well!

I took my mom here for a birthday celebration and we loved it. She was very impressed with the freshness of the food, and oh my goodness I wish I could remember my server’s name but she was awesome too. She was very patient when we had to make some dietary changes. The ambience was great as well, beautiful interior design. Great experience overall!

Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable and friendly and prompt. The appetizers were delicious - guacamole, cheese dip, plantains. We also loved the short rib. It was very delicious and I love the spicy margarita
