The centerpiece of the epicurean experience at Susurros del Corazón, Casamilpa, offers breezy indoor and outdoor spaces serving a locally influenced menu that celebrates sustainability and the bounty of the sea and local farms.

With a breathtaking view of the Ocean and the Islas Marietas, Casamilpa draws guests with a creative and curious kitchen. Serving breakfast and dinner, the rustic Mexican farmhouse menu pairs seasonal vegetables grown from local farms with well-sourced animal proteins and fresh from the sea bounty. Always sustainable, the dishes are globally referenced, but distinctly Mexican.

Executive Chef Tonatiuh Cuevas is imparting his culinary passion at Susurros del Corazón by overseeing the inventive offering of local-forward gastronomic experiences. Cuevas continuously celebrates the local, seasonal bounty of the Nayarit region by providing guests with a home-away-from-home dining experience of simple and pure cuisine.

Beautiful setting, though the wedding on the beach in front of restaurant had music so loud it was hard to have a conversation. Our server was nice, but food was very slow to arrive. Salads were just ok, too much sauce for the amount of vegetables. I had marinated half chicken for main, it was dry and chewy. My husband had lobster farro, which had a scant amount of lobster. Fish if the day was nice. Overall, way too pricey for food quality.

We had the ribeye which was just ok. The beef tenderloin and the catch of the day, rooster fish, was amazing. The service and setting is beautiful. Would go back but wouldn’t order the ribeye again.
