Stunning indoor/outdoor restaurant, bar and events space with a Coastal Mediterranean influence. Casaléna aims to take diners on a culinary journey along the coasts of Italy, Spain and the surrounding Mediterranean regions while utilizing California’s best seasonal produce and highest-quality ingredients. The property features five distinct dining spaces, each offering their own unique ambiance. Guests can enjoy convivial cocktails in the Bar & Lounge, or savor a romantic dinner in the Atrium. For an al fresco experience, the Garden’s sunken patio is surrounded by lush greenery, and the fully enclosed Terrace offers stunning views through its floor-to-ceiling glass.

DRESS CODE: At Casaléna, our goal is to establish a refined dining ambiance. We deem tank tops, flip flops, beach wear, and team athletic attire as overly casual for our establishment. Our staff maintains a standard of appearance they take pride in, and we kindly request our guests to adhere to our attire guidelines.

We sat in the beautiful sunken patio. The food was excellent and our server Tyre L was a pleasure. He was friendly, professional and made our experience very enjoyable.

Ate on patio, nice with plants and fountains. Lots of seating with tables close together banquet style. Food choices are ample and interesting, yet taste is good but not memorable. My branzino was overdone and dry, tuna tartar was ok, I’ve had much better, same with squash blossoms. The limoncello cake was wonderful. Our waiter seemed stressed (not busy yet at 5:45 pm) and didn’t recognize my cocktail description of pink with flowers, pretty easy! Told me don’t offer anymore, yet my husband showed him the drink on the menu ~ I knew we were in trouble! Took forever to get drinks, had to ask for ice and set ups several times, just poor service all around. However we had a great time visiting with our friends anyway and enjoyed our evening.

We went there for brunch and we ordered the Lobo’s Rancheros and the Mediterranean breakfast. Presentation and flavor were good, but the portions were smaller than my fist. I was shocked how little food came on the plate - they gave me one tostada - it was literally done in 3 bites. I would rather pay more and have double the amount than be insulted with what they consider appropriate amount. The Mediterranean breakfast was on a wood board and it was spread out to look like a charcuterie, but it was also a little of this and that which didn’t amount to a whole lot in total. We were there for 30 minutes because there wasn’t much to enjoy. No one walks out with leftovers. We definitely will not return knowing how small the portions are, especially if we are hungry. We did go to another place afterwards just to feel satisfied. The food was good, but they were literally small bites style.

Service and ambiance was great! It wasn’t the BEST Italian I ever ever had which is why I give it an 8/10 and you sit pretty close to other tables so it’s a little loud but the overall experience was great and the interior of the restaurant was beautiful!

I ordered the Hangar steak and it was very good and pretty tender. The added greens were very bitter and I suggest not tasting them. Reasonable priced but they could have added a veggie with no charge. Stingy. My sister had the Chicken Piccata for $26 and it was very good and chicken was tender. Fairly priced too. My husband had the lamb chops and he felt the portion was small for $59. We shared the Tiramisu and that was the best tiramisu I’ve had. All in all this restaurant has become a hot spot and very crowded. The patio is very nice. Some entrees were quite expensive for what you get and others very fair. Plus my sister ordered a grilled Caesar salad and that was an outrageous $21 for what you get. We shared the Beet salad for $23 and that should have been $12, not big enough to share also. Textures very good but overly priced.

We tried sitting downstairs first and couldn’t hear each other so we asked to move to the rooftop which we did and couldn’t hear upstairs either there were too many tables of drinking and screaming going on next time. I will sit out on the roof not the air condition it was miserable.

We ordered the Wagyu meatballs, the octopus and main dish Seabass. Everything tasted delicious just to perfection. Definitely will come here again.
