Casaléna aims to take diners on a culinary journey along the coasts of Italy, Spain and the surrounding Mediterranean regions while utilizing California’s best seasonal produce and highest-quality ingredients. The property features five distinct dining spaces, each offering their own unique ambiance. Guests can enjoy convivial cocktails in the Bar & Lounge, or savor a romantic dinner in the Atrium. For an al fresco experience, the Garden’s sunken patio is surrounded by lush greenery, and the fully enclosed Terrace offers stunning views through its floor-to-ceiling glass.

DRESS CODE: At Casaléna, our goal is to establish a refined dining ambiance. We deem tank tops, flip flops, beach wear, and team athletic attire as overly casual for our establishment. Our staff maintains a standard of appearance they take pride in, and we kindly request our guests to adhere to our attire guidelines.

It was a beautiful ambience and the servers were attentive. The short rib was delicious. The “spicy” pizza wasn’t spicy at all. The pesto pasta needed more burrata. Unfortunately there was an abundance of flies in the air. We were surprised to find that there is no special detail afforded given, as we were celebrating a birthday (which was shared in the Open Table reservation remarks and with our Server.)

Great food. Service was amazing. The place is beautiful and very well maintained. I do have to say that even though food and drinks were great it is pricey.

Went for my birthday but the restaurant acted like it was any other day for us. We originally wanted to sit outside but unfortunately it was 99 degrees so we requested inside on our reservation. I called the day before to confirm and they told us for health reasons they wouldn’t sit anyone outside. When we arrived we waited 15min after our reservation only to be told we would be seated outside. I politely said we were told we would be inside and it’s my birthday so I’d like to enjoy our evening. Ten minutes later they did seat us inside but it was very loud, we were rushed thru barely sitting at our table -- for just under an hour. That’s with apps, mains and dessert. My favorite was the waiter telling us no rush when he handed off the check while eating my first bite of dessert. Our food was OK. Appetizers were the best: crudo, squash blossoms and the mussels which were on special. I had the corn agnolotti while my husband had the shrimp scampi. The pasta was delicious while the shrimp was overcooked and tasted like char. We ended with the pot de crème which we enjoyed but I’ve had much better. We would've said something if we felt like anyone cared but why bother when it feels like they want you out of the table as fast as possible. Overall the place feels like a churn and burn assembly line.

This place is beautiful. The moment you walk in the decide grabbed me then the noise level surprised me. It’s loud in here. Service was wonderful. Drinks and food came out quickly. The Sicilian spritz is refreshing. I don’t taste any fig in my fig old fashioned. The peach pizza was just okay. The stratchiatela (sorry for spelling) was simple but good. The muscles had a lot of flavor but it was all one note and the muscles needed to be purged more since there was a lot of grit in them still. The vodka sauce pasta was amazing. We will give it another try but if next time is similar experience I’ll move on.

Nice restaurant, we waited 45 minutes with a reservation on a Wednesday night. I can only imagine what it’s like on a Friday or Saturday. Food was great though!

When you walk into Casalena, you immediately forget you’re in Woodland Hills (my lovely quiet neighborhood). I love WH - but this restaurant could be smack dab in the middle of Beverly Hills or WEHO! It’s a beautiful, busy restaurant behind those big doors. We went for our anniversary with family and it was great! We had a good sampling of starters, pizza and salads followed by various pastas. The calamari was amazing and the Bianca pizza is delicious. Also loved the Riviera salad. Our server was very sweet. Only negs are the $30 corkage fee (crazy high) and the noise. The outside patio would be much better for a quiet dinner, but it was 100 degrees! (WHILLS:-) all in all we had a very fun and yummy dinner. We’ll go back!
