Casadonna is a Coastal Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant developed in partnership between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality. It is housed in the same Mediterranean revival building as Miami’s historic Women’s Club, located in the city’s burgeoning Edgewater neighborhood. In fact, the name “Casadonna” is derived from the setting—it is a fusion of Italian words translating to “house of the woman.”
Riviera-style Italian cooking serves as the heart of Casadonna’s cuisine. The menu features the freshest and finest local and imported products, with signature handcrafted dishes. Plates are based around traditional recipes found in the coastal towns of Naples, Taormina, Bari, Positano and Gaeta, and each is presented in a contemporary fashion. Bespoke cocktails and an extensive wine list will complement this approach.

The food was moderate to taste and overpriced. The service was extremely poor. They build in their gratuity so they don’t work very hard for their tips. It was our wedding anniversary and we were never even offered dessert, or any recognition for that matter. They never told us the apps were large enough to share (made for 2-3 or larger group)! Also they sat us on the edge of the patio and we were freezing. The heaters were 6-8ft away from us and located more on the interior of the outdoor patio. All parking is valet only and it’s $20. Ridiculous. Worst anniversary dinner ever.

Reservation for brunch at 3pm on 3/02/25. When we arrived, hostess advised they were a bit behind. We sat at the bar to wait, during which we enjoyed some great cocktails and conversation with the bartender including Casadonna's martini sampler, a carajillo, and another cocktail. The hostess advised our table was ready 50 min after the reservation, at which point, we decided drinks were enough and we would eat elsewhere. Was not able to try the food so don't know the quality. Review required we rate it so left one star as I can't truly rate the food.

Wonderful experience! Despite all the reviews that I read before going to Casadonna, I am glad that I went. The food was great with an. incredible variety of dishes. Service was friendly and very kind since the moment I arrived. Waiting time? Yes, I had a long waiting time but I had some drinks in the bar and I wasn't in a rush, I enjoyed my time. The only suggestion I'd do to the restaurant is allow the endless menu drink they have to be used since the moment we arrive instead only on the table.

Very very good service and food was excellent. Only problem they seated us beside 25 drunken people. Would have been nice to seat where is was less noisier. Anyways this place is beautiful and would be a great experience for anyone who wants to dine in luxury.

Casadonna is a masterclass in marketing and presentation. If you're looking to impress someone with a hefty credit card and a penchant for minimalist cuisine, this is your place. If you're looking for a genuinely delicious meal that doesn't require a second mortgage, I'd suggest exploring other options. You're paying for the 'experience' here, and while the experience is certainly curated, the value just isn't there...

Waited an hour for my table for two last night ended up just leaving because I wasn’t waiting any longer.

Had reservations outside. When got there said no seats for 30 min and had to sit inside. Sat us next to kitchen. Only had one server on inside so service was nonexistent though waiter was trying his best. Management had puss face on. Lastly and most importantly food was like chef Boyardee and was cold.

Terrible service, unfriendly, extremely long waiting times, all kind of mistakes eg no menu offered, not serving the right products, mixing up bills and credit cards. Staff just walking up and down, no attention to customers. Totally out of balance considering price level. Amateurs
