Casadonna is a Coastal Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant developed in partnership between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality. It is housed in the same Mediterranean revival building as Miami’s historic Women’s Club, located in the city’s burgeoning Edgewater neighborhood. In fact, the name “Casadonna” is derived from the setting—it is a fusion of Italian words translating to “house of the woman.”
Riviera-style Italian cooking serves as the heart of Casadonna’s cuisine. The menu features the freshest and finest local and imported products, with signature handcrafted dishes. Plates are based around traditional recipes found in the coastal towns of Naples, Taormina, Bari, Positano and Gaeta, and each is presented in a contemporary fashion. Bespoke cocktails and an extensive wine list will complement this approach.

I have never left a negative review, however I was disappointed on my visit. The venue is beautiful, and the food was very good, but the service was lacking. The server greeted the table, she didn’t inform us of the specials, I had to ask. I had to ask her for drinks rather than her asking us if I wanted something to drink. The whole order was taken at once which I knew the next problem was going to be that my apps came out before my drinks. After the appetizer was finished, the table was cleared and then the server was nowhere to be found. My entrees didn’t come out for another 30 minutes which was ok but I wasn’t offered any water or opportunity to order another drink. For all the hype and the price, the service should not be lacking. Could’ve been an off night, but for a restaurant at that level you shouldn’t have an off night

I was left in awe of the service I received from my servers. Mr. Raymond and Angelo, thank you for eloquently attending to my every need and desire! I was treated with sophistication, like royalty. The moment I stepped foot into the parking lot at Casadonna, the valet attendant and the beautiful hostess, Ms. Kimberly, along with her fellow co-host, welcomed me and were extremely accommodating. Thank you for an eventful evening filled with class, glamour, and exquisitely prepared food! It was an amazing evening!

First, we arrived and they had no parking at their valet because the lot was full so we had to pay 25 for 2 hrs 2 blocks away. We get there and check in and it takes about an hour and 15 mins for them to sit us down, when we originally had dinner reservations for 9:30pm…. We still sit down to have a meal and drinks as we are on a date night so we make the best out of it. The food dod not get here until 11:55 pm and they get our order wrong… I’m so extremely disappointed in this restaurant. I will definitely not be coming back or recommending
