Casadonna is a Coastal Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant developed in partnership between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality. It is housed in the same Mediterranean revival building as Miami’s historic Women’s Club, located in the city’s burgeoning Edgewater neighborhood. In fact, the name “Casadonna” is derived from the setting—it is a fusion of Italian words translating to “house of the woman.”
Riviera-style Italian cooking serves as the heart of Casadonna’s cuisine. The menu features the freshest and finest local and imported products, with signature handcrafted dishes. Plates are based around traditional recipes found in the coastal towns of Naples, Taormina, Bari, Positano and Gaeta, and each is presented in a contemporary fashion. Bespoke cocktails and an extensive wine list will complement this approach.

This place has no point of view. Same mila music every restaurant this hospitality group owns. Burrata, hamachi crudo, so predictable. Sat us in the worst seat in the restaurant, asked to be moved, again sat in another Terrible seat. We asked for a round and was told that it was for parties of 6 yet other patrons with parties of 2 were sitting in rounds as well. Just a lot of underwhelming interactions.

The restaurant is stunning. The service was amazing. The food was spectacular. The lobster was fresh and pasta cooked to perfection. The Manager came over to our table to wish me a Happy Birthday and we talked about the restaurant. He was delightful. I will be returning for Brunch soon. I could not have picked a better place to celebrate my Birthday.

Service was terrible. Entrees took forever to come out. Servers never apologized and constantly rushed us while the restaurant was mostly empty. I would never go back.

Staff is trained to ignore your concerns and walk away in the middle of the conversation. Ignoring your concerns. Unacceptable. Maybe staff is too young and detached from what your money can buy for a great night out. And please don’t call me my love, everyone refers to one as my love. A little more respect is needed.

Great experience only down side was my server would gives us too much time to look over the menu and kept disappearing.

My brunch experience was better than my dinner experience. Food quality was good on both, just less options. Staff was great.

I have never left a negative review, however I was disappointed on my visit. The venue is beautiful, and the food was very good, but the service was lacking. The server greeted the table, she didn’t inform us of the specials, I had to ask. I had to ask her for drinks rather than her asking us if I wanted something to drink. The whole order was taken at once which I knew the next problem was going to be that my apps came out before my drinks. After the appetizer was finished, the table was cleared and then the server was nowhere to be found. My entrees didn’t come out for another 30 minutes which was ok but I wasn’t offered any water or opportunity to order another drink. For all the hype and the price, the service should not be lacking. Could’ve been an off night, but for a restaurant at that level you shouldn’t have an off night
