Casadonna is a Coastal Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant developed in partnership between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality. It is housed in the same Mediterranean revival building as Miami’s historic Women’s Club, located in the city’s burgeoning Edgewater neighborhood. In fact, the name “Casadonna” is derived from the setting—it is a fusion of Italian words translating to “house of the woman.”
Riviera-style Italian cooking serves as the heart of Casadonna’s cuisine. The menu features the freshest and finest local and imported products, with signature handcrafted dishes. Plates are based around traditional recipes found in the coastal towns of Naples, Taormina, Bari, Positano and Gaeta, and each is presented in a contemporary fashion. Bespoke cocktails and an extensive wine list will complement this approach.

Upon arrival the valet was full and had to drive around looking for parking. Unacceptable. i paid $38 to park elsewhere The Dover Sole was horrible. Rest of the meal was just average. Prices were very high Place is beautiful. I recommend just cocktails and hor de vors.

Beautiful place, worth visiting. Good menu , with an ample variety of options. Downside be prepared to wait for over an hour to be seated, and really high prices

With the Miami Spice menu, we left hungry. The portions were extremely small. The waiter also was eager for us to leave even though we had ordered wine with our meals they cleared our plates very quickly. We wanted a leisurely meal and our water glasses were taken away before we were ready to leave the table. It is a beautiful setting.

Food came out with an issue so ended up eating my meal while my fiance watched me then I watched her eat. Service was good ambience great.

The food was amazing, the restaurant is beautiful. Our waiter left a lot to be said. He was not attentive as he should have been and since my guest was clearly from a humble background, he immediately took one look at her and very much dismissed us and didn’t really give us the dedication he gave other guests. I didn’t think this place was the type where people were treated based on their wardrobe but I guess it is. If you don’t “look rich” you won’t get treated the same as other guests.

First time trying this beautiful restaurant and it was during Miami Spice. I couldn’t have made a better choice of location! As soon as you walk in, the ambience is incredible with all the decor. You can tell this is an upscale restaurant. The inside was beautiful, and our server was very polite. The food was to die for, and we got to try a lot of different things. After eating, if you haven’t sat outside you MUST go see it. The palm trees and colors just scream old money Miami. The marina in the back and the view of the building from the outside make it so beautiful and romantic. 10/10 would recommend.
