I would’ve given it 3 1/2 stars but OpenTable doesn’t have half stars. Overall it was an enjoyable evening. Our waiter Christian was very nice and efficient. Food was good, not great. We enjoyed everything we ate but nothing was a stand out. We ate outside and that was quite enjoyable.

We are a group of restaurant industry professionals and had heard a lot of great things about Casa Sensei, so we were very excited to get a table. There were some food and drink items that were great, others that should not have been served. Great: blue crab rangoon, seared octopus (the best thing we had), bbq beef and kimchi fried rice, all three sushi rolls. Not great: the fried red snapper was so overcooked, dry and flavorless (although the sauce was good). The kimchi butter popcorn was weirdly cold and sticky. The melontini cocktail was made with watermelon puree from a melon that was not ripe, so it was a flat, bland drink with weird texture. We sat with empty drink glasses from our first round on the edge of the table waiting to be picked up all meal and never were. The food runners were excellent, but our server did not wish to buss any dirty dishes and no bussers came by. Overall I would give it a 3.5/5 but with some minor tweaks and more attention to detail there is a potential for an outstanding meal.

Food and ambience were 5 stars. Service was mediocre. We were seated promptly but no one came over to greet us or take our order. We had to go to the hostess to get a waiter.

I had an outstanding dining experience thanks to our amazing waiter mark ! From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcome with his friendly and engaging personality. Mark took the time to explain the menu and offered great recommendations based on our preferences. What truly stood out was his attentiveness—always checking in to make sure everything was just right, without being overbearing. also incredibly understanding when we had a special request and handled it with ease. This level of service made our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

We had the most amazing sushi and dining experience. Joe was our server and he made wonderful recommendations and was very helpful. This was the best service we had this trip to Fort Lauderdale. Can’t wait to go back!
