First time here. Really thought the food quality and taste was exceptional... Came for lunch was very , very quiet. Lovely bar area. The touch of the complimentary candyfloss was a really nice ending to the lunch.

My spouse and I went to Casa Sensei on 09/07/2024 at 5:00 PM. While the service itself was fine, there was a significant issue with the restaurant itself that should have been completely disclosed at the door. The temperature in the restaurant was scorching, virtually no difference between the outisde and inside, save that the air was fresh outside. Upon entering we were advised it was just warm at the door but cooler at the tables. This could not have been farther from the truth. I feel we were completely deceived in regards to the explanations regarding the temperature, which must have been in the upper 80's or more. One table next to us left before ordering, and the other left also advised they could not take the heat. I find it appalling that no consideration or apologies were given whatsoever for the execeptional uncomfortable temperature! We paid our bill in fill and left a regular tip but had to cut our meal short and did not enjoy our birthday meal at all. For the expensive meal, this was truly the worst experience we've had in sometome. It would be nice to receive some consderation for a refund, or had received a offer of discount for the terrible experience.

This was our first time here. It was our 43rd wedding anniversary and wanted to celebrate at a fun and lively place. Casa Sensei did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and although our table was ready, we were early and wanted to have a drink at the bar first. The bartender was attentive and very socialable. We enjoyed our drinks and easy conversation for about half an hour before being escorted to our table. Our server was also very pleasant and attentive, giving us time to decide from the menu what we wanted to order. We enjoyed vegetable dumplings that we shared, followed by a sushi Rainbow roll for me and Cashew chicken for my husband. Served beautifully and timely, we never felt rushed and enjoyed our food. Too full to order dessert, our server still graced us with a celebration cupcake with a sparkler to add to our celebration along with the restaurant's tradition of serving blue cotton candy to every patron at the end of a meal. (not sure of the significance but it certainly brought smiles). Additionally, the restroom was very clean (that's important to me). Thank you to Casa Sensei for making our anniversary special. We will be sure to visit again.

Good experience overall. Restaurant was comfortable. Price was decent. Location was easy enough to get to. We arrived by Lyft, so I don’t know about parking. The AC issue mentioned in previous reviews has been addressed. They’ve got some portable commercial-sized AC units throughout the restaurant that are doing a fine job. Food was very good. The fried rice and pad thai portions were massive and could easily be split between 2-3 people. I had the dancing dragon roll, which was good. The friends that we were with enjoyed their food as well. The tables are a little on the small size, especially for a group of four. Not horrible, but noticeably smaller than normal. Service was good. Our server let us know up front that dishes are brought out as soon as they are ready, rather than all at once. He suggested dining family-style. This worked out fine for us.
