We love coming to this restaurant for special occasions, but we have never been seated on time, even with a reservation. Our reservation was for 8pm and we were seated at 8:20pm. We were in a corner table that felt very squished, next to the door next to the bathroom. Our waiter rushed through the specials and it just felt very performative, rather than wanting to explain the specials to us and make us feel special. The food is always a 10/10 so we’ll be back, but we were disappointed with the service.

We were disappointed, arriving at 5:00, that only one table was avail to us, although all others were empty. Then when my husband requested olive oil a second time, he was told, “We already gave you some.” Later, I asked why we weren’t told about any specials, and the answer was, “Oh, you seemed like you were in a hurry to order.” And lastly, although I explicitly told the bus boy I wanted to take home a portion of my dinner, he argued that I told him the opposite. (Note: he finally brought it.) Yes, the food and ambiance was good, but all of the above made for a disappointing evening.

Our party of four had a great evening and an excellent meal. Two of us had the sea salt branzino which was fabulous. One friend had veal scallopine al limone which she really enjoyed, but said she’d get the branzino next time because she loved the bites we shared. My husband had the rack of lamb and it did not disappoint. The sauté’s spinach was a perfect accompaniment. Our Brunello was a great pairing rounding out our meal. We’re already looking forward to going back.

This place is top notch. The owner Joey B always takes a little time out to make patrons feel special. The ambiance is elegant and clubby. The food, especially the seafood is pristine! BRAVO!

The service was poor, 15 minutes for a drink and continually having to ask servers for everything including water Very disappointing, the attitude was poor to many great restaurants around to waste time there
