Our anniversary experience was outstanding. The food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. We were very pleased all around.

Service and food was phenomenal. Even though the place was packed, the service was spot on. Our server timed are order just right. The food was great, temperature was perfect and our appetizer, salad and entres were delicious. The only disappointment was that the restaurant went through a name change. Same place, food, etc., but with the name change they would not accept our gift card from LUCA, their Westside sister. But for that, all was great.

I love this restaurant but was concerned it would change when it shifted names. The food and service was the same- amazing! Lobster risotto is to die for!

The things Casa La Luna does well they do VERY well. The things they don’t? Well, they REALLY don’t. Our party of four ordered several different cocktails, all of which were well balanced and delicious. Between us, we ordered two appetizers—the sacchetti and a scallop special. The sacchetti was one of the best bites any us have ever had. This is a CANNOT miss dish. The scallop special was also delicious, easily would have been the best dish of the night had the sacchetti not been ordered. We ordered two salads, both were fresh and crisp. Off to a great start! Entrees and dessert is where it got dicey. 2/4 entrees were mediocre, one pushed it as far as truly bad. The cavatelli was incredibly pancetta forward and salty. The lobster ravioli (recommended by our server) was a messy plate covered in large chunks of lobster, about half of which were extremely overcooked. The Veal Milanese was the star of the entree show, and easily could have fed the table (it basically did!). Onto the bad—if there is a bolognese or a creme brulee on the menu, we’re ordering it. The bolognese, at some point, was burnt. Had that acrid scorched flavor that we fully couldn’t get past. The creme brulee was set well and delicious….with a soggy, soft top—the absolute kiss of death for us. The rest of our desserts (ricotta cheesecake, chocolate “mousse” and a pistachio cheesecake) were good with the pistachio being the stand out for us. Service, while friendly, was incredibly slow, leading to a dining experience of nearly 3 hours. Overall—would return, but only for specific dishes.

We had the best server!!! Ken was awesome. He knew the menu and specials well. And he was able to make wonderful wine recommendations. The food was very good. We sat on the patio. We were about a half hour early for dinner and they were able to seat us. We had a great experience!

Casa Luna was just fantastic last evening. We went after the Playoff game. The food and Service was perfect. Merit a took great care of our table.
