We are proud to bring the flavors of Old (vecchio) and New (nuovo) Italy to the table. From classic dishes that the Genova family made on Sundays for family dinner to new and unique twists on Italian cuisine, every dish is made with love.

Home made Pappardelle with Sausage Ragu, Fried Green Tomatoes, and Mussels appetizers were incredible. My Hendricks Martini with Italian Vermouth and the Contrada Crocilla Sangiovese was divine. Casa Italiano's friendly service was exemplary and is my new RVA neighborhood favorite!

I was overall disappointed in my last experience at Casa Italiana. The service was very slow ... for ordering, clearing the table between courses, and paying the bill. Also, the Calamari and Ceasar salad didn't have much flavor. The Ceasar salad tasted like it had mayonaise on it, not a true house made dressing. I will think twice before going back there ... in the past it has been much better

Food as always was well prepared and presented. Delicious. My favorite waiter is no longer at Casa. I wish Tobias the very best. He WILL soar! Such a kind and informed ability to be in guest services.

Disappointed with service despite having 2 servers (one was in training). Had to repeatedly ask for drink refills. Upon arriving, was told we would be charged a $15 fee for bringing in a birthday cake. I was not asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and not informed of the fee when reservation was made.

It had been awhile since we visited this restaurant. Very nice redo on the decor! It would be nice if the bathrooms had more capacity, though, especially for a restaurant of this square footage. Amanda was our server; very bubbly and down-to-earth personality! The dishes and drinks were outstanding (we had the pappardelle sausage ragu & lobster ravioli)! The drinks were good as well, but VERY pricey! They also add a processing fee that we weren't aware of (must be for using a credit card), so the bill for two plus a tip for our server was $150. While this is a nice restaurant, it didn't impress us as being THAT upscale. Hard to say whether we will return anytime soon.

Great service - salad portion were generous and calamari was tender Red sauce was good great wines Lots of garlic in meatballs.
