Renown Italian restaurateur Mario Laccarino is pleased to invite guests for a taste of the Sorrento Coast at Casa Don Alfonso. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch, the menu tells the story of traditions passed down for generations in the family homes of southern Italy. Family of Iaccarino honors the culinary heritage of the Campania region, with seasonal ingredients that closely resemble the sun-kissed produce harvested at the Iaccarino family’s farm. Fresh, handmade pastas create an edible narrative of the Iaccarino legacy, while whimsical desserts transport guests to Naples’ nostalgic bakeries.

Casa Don Alfonso welcomes Chef Nicola Pignatelli from its sister property Don Alfonso 1890 for a pasta cooking class on Monday, November 11 at 5:00 PM. Guests will enjoy a welcome spritz and passed hors d'oeuvres before a hands-on cooking experience where guests will learn to create two different pasta dishes. Afterward, indulge in a four-course dinner paired with carefully selected wines. Guests will also take home an apron, recipe booklet, and certificate of completion. The class is priced at $200 per person (plus taxes and 20% service charge) with limited space available. Reservations are required.

I called a couple months in advance for brunch for my parents 60th anniversary. The staff were great at confirming the reservation and seating our large group at 2 tables near each other. It was a delicious brunch. The tomato Bisque was delicious! The omelettes were very well done.There were only two desserts however. Our server was outstanding! It’s pricey but well done.

Had bruch buffet with 4 family members and everything was great. Great service and food was amazing. Highly recommend the bruch for a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.

Been here several times and meals have been good. Unfortunately our experience this time was anything but good. Had reservations in the lounge. We were coming from the Blues game celebrating our son’s 30th birthday. We arrived and got our table…ordered a bottle of wine, cocktail and several pizzas. Took quite awhile to get cocktail, had to ask if it was still coming. After ordering three different bottles of wine, none of which they had, we got two glasses of wine. We also ordered another cocktail which the waiter had forgotten about and then brought another cocktail that was different from what we ordered. We then asked about our pizzas and waiter asked what pizzas and then apologized for forgetting to submit the order. After an hour of this we left, never getting our food and drinks we ordered. Expected more from this high end restaurant.

Unfortunately, the food just wasn't very good. Had one great appetizer, the tuna tatare. The bread served was delicious, add the burrata salad was fine. The main courses, though, were very disappointing.

I was so excited to try this new and beautiful hotel. Our server was lovely but the food was so basic. I actually made that chicken recipe in the 80’s with a jar of salsa. Anyway, huge disappointment.

This place was all style and no substance. We loved the homemade bread, but our son's pizza was undercooked, the marinara on my meatballs was so salty I couldn't even dip my bread in it, the lettuce on my salad was like it came from a gas station with dressing from a fast food packet, and they were out of veal. Our drinks were good at the bar and the appetizers were tasty, but it would be pretty hard to screw up a charcuterie board. They did give us a free dessert for birthday celebrations, but even that was overdone with the espresso powder that I almost choked. We enjoyed the ambiance and our service was appropriate for that type of fine dining, but overall it was extremely disappointing.

The food was great. Love the atmosphere. We did not get a coffee we asked for with dessert but really not a big deal. Drinks are amazing!

Such a gorgeous interior. The kindest staff. The braised beef ravioli, the fresh baked bread…so many other delicious foods. It always feels like I traveled to another place, but really I am just a 10 minute walk from my home! Thank you Aida and Senada and all the people who dote on us at Casa Don Alfonso💙
