With comfortable seating for alfresco dining on the terrace, inside, Casa Victoria is set over two sun-soaked floors, with expansive windows and our signature hanging greenery. A collection of uniquely Portuguese azulejos – decorative tilework – align the walls, a traditional art crafted to welcome guests.

Casa’s menu is inspired by the rich culinary history of Portugal and the wider Mediterranean. True to Portuguese tradition, there is an emphasis on cooking over a wood-charcoal grill. The restaurant has become known for piri-piri chicken, with perfectly caramelised skin and a deep flavour which comes from a brush of Casa’s secret piri-piri blend. The menu offers so much more, with small and large plates all designed to share. Everything at Casa is made fresh in-house, using top quality, locally sourced ingredients. The food is complemented with an all-Portuguese wine list, cocktails, mocktails and Super Bock beer on draught.

Grilled chicken was super tasty, juicy & flavoursome, the sauce on the side had just the right amount of a spicy kick, loved their croquetes & wagyu meatballs too!

Despite booking online through on OpenTable they didn’t have our booking. That didn’t matter as it was a 5.00pm pre theatre booking so we were the only ones there when we arrived. However what did matter was that on the booking they asked what was the occasion, so our occasion was not acknowledged as it had been in Boulevard Brasserie restaurant. We ordered the charred cauliflower (which is a whole cauliflower so a bit big for 2 of us) and the prawns and the half chicken piri piri and the tomato salad (nicest tomatoes ever!) . The menu actually says the small plates will arrive first and then the chicken and sides so we were surprised when all arrived together. They didn’t have our first choice of wine and recommended another and offered a sample. That was a good idea as we disliked the sample so chose another one. We had a very nice young lady serve us who was new as we saw another waitress teach her how to open a bottle of wine at another couples table..hardly the place to do staff training? The place started to fill up as we were leaving so the ambience increased. One thing I would mention is that a lot of the restaurants in the area are blocked from evening sun because of their positioning in a type of square surrounded by very tall buildings, so this may be important if you want to sit in the sun.

The whole experience was excellent, great service, delicious food, lovely wine and a relaxed but vibrant atmosphere.

We had a lovely meal at Casa do Frango. The sharing dishes are all delicious and make for a wonderful sociable eating experience. The staff were friendly and energetic. My only criticism is that we were told they needed the table back after only 1 hour 15 minutes which isn’t very long for a table of 3 - I thought we would have the table for 2 hours. Overall though we had a very enjoyable time - we just wanted to stay longer!

Chose to eat here ahead of Hamilton (theatre is just around the corner). Friendly welcome and although pretty empty when we arrived (5.30) place quickly filled to create a nice buzz. Food was very good - mainly had a the peri-peri chicken which was tasty. The "Portuguese" fries were just very ordinary 'fries' however and therefore the extra £4.50 seemed a bit steep even for central London. Service was a bit hit and miss - some plates were cleared whilst some of the table were still eating and one of the mains was initially wrong. Overall a good experience but was pricey for what is essentially chicken and chips.

Great value with really tasty food at reasonable prices. It's the only place where I'd order cauliflower as I don't even like it normally but Casa do Frango's one is delicious. We also enjoyed the Boa Pinga wine.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great, very tasty. The chicken sharing portion was a bit on the small size for 2 to share especially if you have a big appetite but overall I would give a 5 star rating
