I’ll only dine at this exceptional restaurant on Sundays because Martino is such an exceptional Maitre’D and Sunday is one of the only nights he’s in charge. With no disrespect to the rest of the staff, Martino simply knows how to manage the entire dining experience in a special way! We had another outstanding dinner thanks to him and our waiter Gelton.

We wanted to celebrate my wife’s 85th birthday. I made a reservation for what I thought was for Saturday instead it was for Sunday when I called. They were very gracious and got me in but we wanted to sit in the bar area. There was no space there but we got there. They made space so we could sit and enjoy our meal Our server Adriana and her husband Luciano did their best to get us in there quickly and out at a fantastic meal of food is always the best around. Thank you

As always the food was excellent. Our server was good, but had lapses of forgetting to check on us. I had a birthday dinner with my family there as I do there every year. The reason i gave it a 4 was due to our reservation experience. We had 7pm reservation and were not seated until 7:30. We have been going here a long time and the reservation system has been getting worse and worse. This is a higher end restaurant and we should not have to wait for 30+ additional minutes for a table, with a 7Pm reservation. Why have a reservation at all?? No apologies for having to wait which I find totally unprofessional. In NYC if you are made to wait, the least that a high end restaurant does is apologize, but usually offers a free drink or dessert or something to compensate. We spent close to $500 and were not treated as we should have been. As i said the food is the best, but be warned, a reservation there doesn't mean what it used to mean.

We had an amazing meal. The dishes were amazing and perfectly seasoned. An incredible wine list with many spectacular wines available by the glass (via coravin). Aba was a fantastic server; magically arriving whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend visiting Casa D'Angelo.
