We have been to many highly rated Indian restaurants in the Richmond area, but Carytown Indian Cuisine has all the others beat - the dishes were perfectly prepared and the flavors were fabulous.

Very good Indian food, some spice which is welcome. Pleasant dining room, attentive service. Will be back.

Best Indian food in RVa. Great food, service and atmosphere. They have a parking lot in Cary town which is huge🙃😛! Don’t have to add on 10 min to your drive time to find parking.

Delicious and great service. We had the Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Vindaloo and all were so good.

This space has turned over as a restaurant many times since I first moved to Richmond and this is easily my favorite. I hope this one doesn’t leave!

Tried Carytown Indian Cuisine for Anniversary dinner. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. Delicious food. We were surprised by an after dinner dessert. Definitely recommend!

We had a lovely celebratory meal for a member of our party during which we discovered our new favorite local Indian restaurant selected by my youngest in celebration of his birthday. Because he got off work early, we ventured out on the early side for dinner and had this delightful restaurant all to ourselves for the earlier part of the evening (street parking was easy to find at this time as well). The restaurant’s ambiance was charming and the service was most attentive. The various dishes we ordered were attractively presented (I selected the #2 spice level while my tablemates opted for #3). The result was that our various dishes had a blend of flavors which were fragrant without overpowering heat and spice. The birthday boy was presented with delicious mango ice cream and gulab jamun on the house with extra spoons 🥄 to share.
