Welcome to Carve Kitchen + Meatery, a premium casual dining experience in a bright and inviting space. Specializing in exceptional steaks, our menu goes beyond with everything from succulent chicken dishes to enticing vegan offerings. We’re committed to sourcing ingredients locally wherever possible and cultivate some of our produce in an onsite garden.

At Carve, we create a sophisticated yet approachable atmosphere where culinary innovation meets impeccable service. Our modern take on the classic North American steakhouse was designed to be enjoyed by locals and guests alike.

The noise was that 5 (5-7) year old boys walking ( running) thru restaurant to go out patio doors to run around . Several blasts of freezing cold air each time patio doors were opened after8 pm as we were still eating. One had a plastic hockey stick . They weren’t even eating in restaurant. You should maybe consider an age restriction on dinner times especially coming into the lounge/ dining areas . It sure takes away the nice ambiance and fine dining experience with kids (infants) . Something like 12 years and older after 7 pm kind of thing for sitting down in restaurant would be appropriate I’d think? Vijay was our server and was awesome and right on it all night to make sure we were looked after . as the other servers were as well . I’m not an old fuddle dutty (60 years old ) and have adult kids myself so have been a parent with young kids in the passed but took them to appropriate places to eat . I’m sure we will be back as we like to support local businesses. Thankyou .

I really loved everything about it . We had good experience and food was delecious . I order Salmon it was so good cooked perfectly.

The restaurant was lovely and the service outstanding but I was very disappointed in the food. We had the set menu and I was underwhelmed by my meal. My Cesar salad was fine, if a bit over seasoned but the bouillabaisse, which looked amazing, was super bland. I struggled to pick up any flavor in the broth, I found the muscles to be muddy tasting and the prawn to be slightly over cooked. We had one choice for dessert, the sticky toffee pudding. It was a nice, light date cake, but not anything special. I have to say my favorite part of my meal was probably the Hot Toddy Truffle at the end. That was AMAZING.

Enjoyed excellent New Years Eve 8 course dinner, and then New Years Day brunch. Service was superb as well as food.

Although we would have preferred a quieter atmosphere particularly at supper, our experience during the 5 night stay was exceptional as indicated in our 5 star ratings for all categories.

Christmas dinner was extremely disappointing. I had halibut. Crispy on top, had to turn over to cut. Wasn't cooked enough. Soup was ok. Had to chip creme brûlée to get to underneath. I had turkey, pink and touch. Could not even get my fork on the roasted squash and brussel sprouts. Soup was ok. Same comment about desert. We drove up from Parksville to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in the hotel. Hotel is beautiful. Have a couple of suggestions but this isn't the place for them.

The Christmas Dinner was absolutely phenomenal! Portions were excellent, staff was attentive and extremely accommodating. Best Restaurant meal we’ve had since moving to Campbell River, and one of the best of all time! Thank-you for a lovely evening! Don and Melanie Whittaker
