Welcome to Carve Kitchen + Meatery, a premium casual dining experience in a bright and inviting space. Specializing in exceptional steaks, our menu goes beyond with everything from succulent chicken dishes to enticing vegan offerings. We love the decor. The food was very yummy and the portions were really good. Service was excellent. The overall ambiance was perfect. Such an unexpected place in this little town.

Our service was top notch! The chef surprised up with a port potsticker sample before our appies came out and it was delicious! I had the burger which was huge and very tasty! The fries were homemade and perfect! One order at our table was the pork dinner dish and it was the largest portion of pork I've ever seen, cooked perfectly! We finished with the cheesecake for 2 and it was one of the best cheesecakes I've had (and I make great cheesecake!) we woukd definately eat there again for special occasions!

We were disappointed. We had come to the restaurant a number of times for breakfast and were very pleased. We invited our friends to join us. The two couples had never been before. It wasn’t crowded but service was slow. My eggs ere cold when they arrived, the English muffin for the eggs Benedict was hard to cut and the potatoes were undercooked. I wondered if you were short-staffed this morning in the kitchen. The servers were wonderful and very attentive. Pleasant and welcoming, but the food was not up to your usual standards.

Overall decent experience, seemed too busy for amount of staff on. Waited 35 minutes for My drink, which was only a draft beer. Dinner didn’t come until after the hour mark. Steak meals are pay for the steak and they add everything else ala cart. Overall value really not there when paired with other similar restaurants. The place is nice, but maybe still working out bugs since opening.

It’s nice to have a fancier place available in Campbell River. Comfortable atmosphere. The pork was amazing and by far the best thing we had with a very generous portion. Everything else was decent but not quite on point for the price. The brownie was good, unfortunately the pavlova was really hard and I couldn’t eat it. We will probably go back some time but not rushing to.
