The food was so fresh and delicious. We had the calamari which had the perfect amount of crispness and the salad served with was flavorful. The BBQ ribs were not the best, too much fat & the sauce was just tomatoes. Instead had the NY strip which was beautifully prepared. The chicken came with a sparkler & the flavor profile was great with the potatoes. It is a thigh, not breast so you have to be a dark meat fan. We went for NYE which had a Prixe Fixe menu so didn’t try everything. Portions were also nice however the courses seemed rushed, food came out a bit too quick to be able to fully enjoy everything individually. Service overall was good, nice wait staff that worked well together. Ours was a little flighty but she was fun!

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. Once seated, the service was incredibly slow, and it took far too long for someone to take our order. Unfortunately, we had another commitment after our meal, but we had to cancel it because of the excessive wait for our food. We understand that New Year’s Day can be hectic, but that’s no excuse for poor customer service. Guests should always feel valued, and this was not the case here. The situation was eventually resolved when the manager stepped in to assist, but by then, the damage was done. We left with a bad taste in our mouths and are hesitant to return.

We had a great NYE experience here. Some restaurants completely overbook on this night and everything feels chaotic, but this was not the case here. The service was excellent and the prefix menu was a great deal. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Our server Alec was super sweet. Looking forward to returning.

Our first visit to Carve American Grill, Central Austin was a Delight, and a Grand place to celebrate New Year’s Eve. Our Server, Avery, was cheerful, kind and very attentive. We shall be returning soon! And the food was extra delicious ❤️

We experienced the Prime Rib Thursday. Overall, the food was good. Steaks were cooked to perfection! With my steak, I subbed fries, which came with a spicy ketchup. The ketchup was my least favorite part of the meal; the steak was pepper-forward, fries were heavily seasoned, so the ketchup didn't need the kick. Our waitress was friendly, but was quite mediocre (slow to greet the table, no suggestive selling, etc). We're glad to have experienced Carve, but it might be a one-time venture.

Service - Excellent - we sat in bar area - it was less noisy in this area - took our teenagers who loved it too! Happy Hour menu so good! recommend lobster corndogs, guiltless cheesysticks, tenderloin toast Married couple split 14oz sirloin with two sides brussel sprouts and truffle fries - so delish! Teens got burgers - both loved! They even gave us a free birthday desert!
