Excellent prefix meal including salad and entree and a dessert for a very low price. They do that on weekdays, not just Valentine's Day. Food tasted great! My go-to place!

Caruso's Grocery at Pike & Rose is consistently excellent. It's hard to find really good Italian food in the area, so we were thrilled to discover them. The calamari is some of the best we've had, and we've really enjoyed the pasta dishes and entrees that we've tried over several visits. Highly recommend!

Caruso’s definitely lived up to the hype. Amazing food and amazing service. We had their Alfredo and Trout Piccata, both 10/10. Don was our server and he truly took care of us! Friendly, attentive and made great recommendations. Will definitely ask for him the next time I visit. Thanks again!

The food is just correct and uniformly lacks intensity of flavor. The impression at this Pike & Rose venue is that the kitchen is sort of going through the motions. Also, although I suspect it is intentional, the ambience is dark & on the dinghy side. The booths are really a bit too small - choose a table if you can. Finally, the service is attentive and enthusiastic, which was a plus.

This is our favorite restaurant for Italian food. We love the chicken parmigiana with vodka sauce.

While our food and server were wonderful unfortunately the management was not. 45 minutes prior to the reservation I received two calls and no voicemails. Upon arrival 10 minutes early (for our 2:30 reservation) a hostess informed our party that we needed to sit and order immediately as the kitchen closed at 2:30. When addressing this with the manager he said they attempted to call and request that we come early. When I shared that no message was left and to arrive and it be demanded that we order was not acceptable especially as we booked on their site, one of their established reservation times. It is unfortunate that such a bitter experience might be my last at this restaurant.

The experience for Restaurant week was extremely poor. We had a 230 reservation for brunch at 1:49. We were called by the restaurant and told that they closed the kitchen at 2:30 and we could no longer get Caruso‘s food. They said we could get ordinary food, we don’t live in Roz so we jumped in the car 23 and arrived at the restaurant at 2:15. We rushed through lunch and the food was not good as we expected to be. One of the waiters came over later about halfway through the Mullen and oh you know we would’ve held the kitchen open, but there was no excuse for the way we’re tr treated We had a similar experience, a Carusos with poor service and poor food with friends several months ago. I can’t understand how they get good reviews on the level of service note and the level of food is lacking.

I went with my boyfriend to Caruso's for restaurant week and it was am amazing price for the brunch. We got chicken parm sliders, wild mushroom garlic bread pizza, 2 salads, a brunch burger, and the spicy Neapolitan ragu. Everything was delicious and there was even enough ragu left over to take home. We wished that we could have ordered the lemon ricotta donuts, but sadly it was sold out. Also, the dishes took a while to come out so we had to wait, but the taste made up for the time it took to get our order. I would recommend this place for a date night or more special occasion as it can get a little pricy outside of restaurant week. We will definitely be back to try the lemon ricotta donuts we missed out on.
