Caruso’s Grocery is modeled after the classic, Italian-American "red sauce" joint. You know the one: red banquettes, a killer chicken parmesan, Sinatra pouring through the speakers. If you’re looking for modern interpretations of a chef's take on the classics, you won’t find them here.

    great place to go for anniversary. they gave us prosecco and wrote a little "happy anniversary" sign. we love going to Caruso's even though it can be hard to get a reservation here. the food is so delicious as well.

    Such a good dinner - I need to go back again soon. Our waiter was amazing and the food couldn’t have been better. Thanks for such a great experience!

    I’ve heard so much about how great the food is here and was excited. Maybe I didn’t order the right dish, but I just didn’t see the hype of it all. Service was good, so was the Caesar salad. Ordered Calamari and Veal. Both were meh; calamari was tough and not very flavorful and the marinara for the veal was a bit acidic and there was more breading than meat. Our server was excellent, and the highlight. Overall, the food was med and I wouldn’t hurry to come back.

    One of my favorite restaurants in the city! The food is truly incredible. Get the Caesar salad and Alfredo.
