Caruso’s Grocery is modeled after the classic, Italian-American "red sauce" joint. You know the one: red banquettes, a killer chicken parmesan, Sinatra pouring through the speakers. If you’re looking for modern interpretations of a chef's take on the classics, you won’t find them here.

A joint venture from Neighborhood Restaurant Group and Partner Matthew Adler.

Our Valentine's Day prix fixe menu is packed with all our favorite Caruso's hits and lets you customize your experience! Please reach out to hello@carusosgrocery.com with any questions. Price is $105 per person for food (plus tax & gratuity). Beverages are not included. NOTE: A cancellation fee of $25 per person may be charged if your reservation is canceled within 48 hours of your reservation. Additionally, we will not be offering an a la carte menu option — ONLY the prix fixe menu will be served.

The spicy ragu (extra spicy for me) and the truffle Alfredo were some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time!! So good and worth visiting again and again!

We had such a great time! The food was excellent, and our waiter was awesome too. We made a reservation and didn’t have to wait more than a minute to be seated. Loved the decorations too

Great service. Portions were large. Food served hot. Wine list was good for an Italian restaurant.

Food and drinks were great and loved the addition of winter food/cocktail specials. Staff were attentive to our needs.

5pm reservation, restaurant was still setting up for dinner service. Food, general consensus at the table was only okay. The chicken parm, not bubbly hot, the cheese slid off the meat in a single sheet. The Neapolitan Ragu, was a shade warmer, then (warm) not hot and fresh seemingly and the bucatini was uncooked and chewy. Thanks to the whipped ricotta it kept the dish from being dry, otherwise it would have been. This time visiting the food just wasn’t as good as we have had in past visits. The house bottle of wine selected was good and dessert was as well. The service was excellent, sadly the food wasn’t in comparison, we left a $100 tip because we appreciated the service. The restaurant is difficult to get a later reservation hour, regardless I wouldn’t go again on a Tuesday at 5pm. Overall, a 3 star experience.

Love having Caruso’s in the neighborhood. It offers a warm, welcoming environment with good food - even if hard to get a reservation. The tricolore salad and burrata were excellent. Our entrees - gnocchi, mushroom truffle pasta, and linguine with clams were good, not great. Gnocchi were a bit chewy, the mushroom sauce was a bit salty and linguine a bit blah - could have used more garlic or chili or something. Tiramisu also excellent. Service was friendly but seemed inexperienced- we waited a long time to order and had to request a refill of water.

The food is fresh and flavorful and great. Staff is super welcoming from the hostess to the waiters and crew. The space is cozy and welcoming.
