This Family run restaurant, situated by the beautiful Inverness-Kyle line, showcased by Michael Palin and more recently, Michael Portillo, overlooks Loch Carron, it is an ideal stop when travelling from Inverness to the Western Isles or venturing out on the North Coast 500 route. www.northcoast500.com

For nature lovers we are less than a mile away from Attadale Estate Gardens. There’s much to see including; the water gardens with Monet Bridges, impressive sculptures and spectacular plantings of Gunnera, Primula and Rhododendrons recently featured on the BBC’s Lady Lairds.

If you fancy a refreshing cuppa we have a great selection of tea,coffee and home baking from 10 daily in our lounge or restaurant. Choose from our famous 5 Bakes - Shortbread, Scones, Gingerbread, Lemon Drizzle and Florentines all baked on the premises..

We were struggling to find a restaurant with good reviews that would be open in the area in mid-Feb and Carron came to the rescue. Tasty food, decent portions, and good service.

We recently visited this restaurant as a family of six, including our baby, and we couldn’t have been more pleased! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The homemade food was absolutely delicious—each dish was flavorful. You can really taste the care that goes into the cooking. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend this restaurant for families and anyone looking for a warm, welcoming atmosphere with great food. We can’t wait to return!

really nice location very close to our accomodation. Great food with a nice choice for my wife who is vegetarian, Fairly quiet on the evening we ate there, so service was especially quick . Most enjoyable.
